"Can I?" You asked looking over at your mom.
The woman sighed, "Your leg got crushed and you want to be out and about?" She asked.
You nodded in response.
"Fine." Your mother said, "But please, be careful." You and Hiccup shared a look before beginning to make your way over to the door, "Oh, and Hiccup-" Your mother called, "Take care of my daughter." Hiccup's face went slightly red, a fact that went unnoticed by you.
"I will, I promise." He responded before shutting the door behind you.
You and the boy started walking towards the cove, "So what are we getting?" You asked. Kind of surprised that he even invited you. Before you thought you were just there to babysit him, but he wanted you to come this time?
"A shield from the forge, and a fish," Hiccup responded, walking into the forge. You were hobbling close behind.
You thought about it, "You might want to bring two. That other dragon might still be there." Hiccup glanced over at you before nodding.

The two of you slowly made your way towards the cove. Even though you were crippled at the moment you still felt the pressure of wanting to protect Hiccup. Stoick had high expectations of you and you didn't want those to falter.
After a bit of stumbling and tripping over various objects, the two of you finally made it to the cove. With him, Hiccup had brought two fish and a shield. You both made your way down to the lower entrance of the cove. Hiccup raised his shield and threw the fish inside. After a few seconds, nothing happened.
You let out a sigh, before moving around Hiccup and walking into the cove. You put most of your weight on your unbroken leg and the crutch.
You heard a thump behind you. Once you turned around you noticed that the shield had gotten stuck. Hiccup, who was still behind the shield, tried to pull it out of the way. He frowned before crawling under it and entering the cove.
He grabbed the fish and began walking around the cove, you followed close behind. You heard a rustle behind you and both Hiccup and you turned around to face it.
Hiccup gasped, pressing the two fish to his chest as the Night Fury crawled towards him. It made its way towards the ground and sniffed the air. Hiccup looked down at the fish before holding one out towards the Night Fury. You looked around, looking for the other dragon. You felt a gust of wind blow your hair forward, turning around you found yourself facing the Silver Phantom. It leaned down, sniffing you before letting out a small sneeze. You let out a gasp before backing up slowly, your back pressing against the rocks behind you.
Hiccup glanced over at you before holding out the other fish. The Silver Phantom immediately redirected its gaze and turned towards the fish.
You watched as the Night Fury leaned forward, carefully reaching for the fish. It took a sniff before growling and backing up. Hiccup held up his hands, opening his vest and taking out his knife. The boy intentionally dropped it on the ground. The Night Fury looked down at the knife, flicking its head to the side.
Hiccup kicked the knife into the pond. As soon as the knife hit the water the Night Fury relaxed. It sat up, tilting its head to the side. Hiccup held the fish out, the Night Fury leaned forward again opening its mouth to take the fish.
"Huh. Toothless? I could've sworn you had..." Hiccup began, before being interrupted by the dragon unsheathing its teeth and grabbing the fish, "Teeth..." Hiccup finished nervously. He then glanced over at the Silver Phantom, the dragon's eyes went from slits to round pupils. Cautiously the dragon took the fish, scarfing it down.
You looked over at the Night Fury which was now stalking towards Hiccup, "Hiccup." You warned.
The boy turned to the dragon, "Uh, uh, no, no, no. I-I don't have anymore." The Night Fury cornered Hiccup against a rock, the boy slid down to the ground. You took a step forward, but the dragon stopped, it sat upwards and regurgitated half of the fish into Hiccup's lap. He looked up at the dragon nervously, "Eh-" The boy picked up the fish and took a bite out of it, "Mhm..." He held up the fish to the dragon, faking that it was good.
You glanced over at the dragon that was standing closer to you, "Don't you dare." You said to the Silver Phantom before turning back towards Hiccup. The dragon sent you a look before turning towards the other two.
You saw the Night Fury tilt its head before swallowing, motioning for Hiccup to eat the fish. Hiccup frowned, before begrudgingly swallowing the fish. He gagged, almost vomiting but forced it down. He shuddered. The Night Fury licked its lips causing Hiccup to send him a forced smile.
The dragon opened its mouth, copying Hiccup's smile. The boy's eyes widened as he began to slowly get up, lifting his hand towards the dragon. You heard a low growl from next to you as the Silver Phantom took a step toward the two. The Night Fury repeated its actions and growled before rushing away, trying to fly. The black dragon swayed in the air to make it away.
It landed on the ground shaking itself off before creating a ring of fire around itself and patting it down, laying down on it. The Silver Phantom took off, almost knocking you over, and landed on a rock next to the Night Fury. Hiccup took a glance over at you before completely standing up and making his way toward the dragon. You hobbled close behind, trying to keep up with the boy. Hiccup sat right next to the Night Fury, staring at it while you decided to lean against some rocks close by, not wanting to disturb the creatures.
The Night Fury glanced over at Hiccup before letting out a peeved growl, it flopped its head down and moved its body so that he couldn't see the boy. Hiccup scooted forward and reached out for the tail. The dragon lifted its tail, seeing the boy reaching out. Hiccup quickly stood up and spun around walking away from the creature.
Hiccup walked over to where you were, he leaned against the rocks next to you. As soon as he flopped against the rock you heard the Silver Phantom make a noise that sort of sounded like a laugh. You chuckled in response, wondering if it found Hiccup's attempts at friendship humorous.
