Sick Louis-One Shots 2

Louis just back from the school when his phone ringing. He put his bag and answer it.

Apparently it's from his mom. She ask him to pick her up, because her car is break down.

After that, he grab his car key again and wear his jacket, before get in the car.

An hour later, he arrive at a mall where his mom is.

"Mom?"

"Oh, Louis!"

"Where are your car?"

"They crane it to the work shop."

"Oh."

Just then a wind blow rather strong. Louis shivering a little before taut his jacket and put the lid over his head. Then he grab her items purchased.

"Come on, mom. It's cold," Louis hiss and shiver again, then put the items in the luggage.

His mom observe Louis face and wondering his son attitude. It's hot, why does Louis feel cold?

On the way home, his mom suddenly touch his forehead. Louis jump a little, and chuckle lightly.

"Mom, you're startling me."

But his mom just smile softly,"are you okay?"

Louis frown his eyebrows.

"Yes, of course. Why?"

"You're warm, Lou."

Louis chuckle again.

"Of course, mom. I'm a human. A human is warm," he still chuckle a little.

His mom rolls her eyes. Louis is a stubborn person, didn't want to admit if he feel sick.

"I know that, Louis. But you're warmer than usual, and you're shivering occasionally. Are you feel fine?"

"Yes, mom. I'm just cold. Don't you feel cold either?"

"Of course not. It's so hot in here."

Louis shrug his shoulder.

His mom just sigh and shake her head. But she make a mental note to watch over his stubborn son this whole day.

Around midnight, she wake up by an annoyed noise in the bathroom. She walk towards it and peek pass through the door that open a little. There Louis whose knelt down in front of the toilet, and hugging his stomach.

"Louis?"

Louis startle and turn to her before flush the toilet quickly.

"Mom, you're scaring me," he chuckle nervously.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, mom. I'm fine."

Louis stand up and kiss her forehead.

"I'll go to bed. I don't want to be late for the exam tomorrow. Good night, mom."

Louis flash a smile and walk towards his room. His mom just sigh disappointing. Louis still don't want to admit his sickness.

2 days later, she startled by Louis whose run pass her while throwing his bag, before go into the bathroom and lock the door. Seconds later the retch voice heard from there.

She really want to comfort her son there, but she know Louis don't want to be fussed over. So, she just pacing forth an back in front of the bathroom.

Minutes later, Louis come out with a pale face, clutching his stomach and hiss in pain. But he try to smile when see his mom there.

"You're sick aren't you?"

Louis nod slowly and bow his head. His mom sigh again before guide him to the kitchen and sit him down.

"I'll make you a tea."

His mom start to turn, but Louis stand up abruptly and run to the bathroom, before retching again.

His mom rubs his nape gently.

"Oh, God, you're burning up, Lou. Have you vomit before?"

Louis just nodded and continue to retch until 15 minutes later. After that, she lay him down on the bed.

"Honestly, Lou. How many times have you vomit before?" His mum ask while covering his body with a duvet.

Louis whose start to shivering, show his 5 fingers. She widened her eyes.

"5? And you didn't tell me?"

"M' sorry," Louis hiss in pain again.

"Lou? Are you okay?"

"Stomach hurt," he's shivering badly now,"s-so cold."

His mom touch his forehead again. Louis temperature felt more high, and his teeth start to chatter.

"Oh, my God!"

She's panick now. So, she dial 911, and 15 minutes later, Louis admitted to ICU. Luckily, that afternoon, his temperature decrease bit by bit.

"Mom?" Louis call him weakly.

His mom, whose fall asleep next to him, jump a little, and open her eyes.

"Louis? Oh, my God. You're scaring me, son. How do you feel?"

She clutch his hand and rubs it lovingly.

"Better. I'm sorry, mom. I didn't tell you this before, because I didn't want to fail the exam."

"It's okay, son. How is your exam? This is the last day, right?"

"Yes. I think I can pass it."

His mother flash a smile.

"Good. Now, just take a rest, okay? The exam is finished. So, there's nothing to worry about."

Louis chuckle a little.

"Thank you, mom. Oh, by the way, when can I come out from here?"

"Is your stomach still hurt?"

Louis shake his head.

"Good. The doctor said, if your stomach is fine, you can come out in 3 days."

"Oh, thank's God. I can be bored if it's more longer than that."

His mom chuckle lightly.

"Alright, just take a sleep, Lou," his mom kiss his forehead,"I love you, son."

"I love you too, mom. Thank you."
