Clint Barton is a boy

Clint was a really sweet boy everyone in Sheild knew that and those who knew he was trans were overall good at respecting him. He was still misgendered a lot but it didn't bother him as much as it used to, he knows they are at least trying.

Though walking it to work today he saw someone was in Coulsons office and was talking to him, this other man was in a sheild uniform so Clint thought they were talking about work so he just waited outside.

He could hear the conversation very faintly, even with his aids out, the conversation between the two men. The other man was clearly not trying to be quite. Clint guessed that he was yelling. He tried to ignore the conversation, he respects Coulson and doesn't want to intruded on something he shouldn't. But it was really hard not to listen when the conversation is about you.

"Coulson, your a good man but you shouldn't be encouraging these delusions. The kid isn't well, she needs help."

"I'm afraid I don't know what you are talking about, George."

"That Ciara Barton girl, she isn't well"

"I personally think that Clint is just fine."

"She is delusional, you need to stop encouraging her to act like that."

"What exactly are you talking about?what delusion? Act like what?"

"You know, she thinks she's a boy. That isn't ok, she needs to stop acting like it. No one is ever going to see her as a boy. She is a girl and you need to explain that to her. I don't want my son around those types of people."

"I see you are confused, Clint is a boy just a very feminine presenting one. And James isn't going it get hurt or what ever you think is going to happen if he hangs around Clint."

"He won't get hurt because he is real man. I just don't want that demented girl around him, so either you fire her or I force James to quit"

Then the man walked out if the room he looked pissed. Clint just pretend I didn't hear anything as he put my aids in and walked into the room.

"So Coulson, what is on the agenda today?"

Clint could tell Coulson was angry, and even though Clint knew he shouldn't be scared of Phil, he is one of the sweetest men you will ever meet, he was scared of him. This is the first time he has ever seen Coulson mad.

Coulson put on a smile and said, "well we don't have any big plans for today so it should be pretty calm for today"

"OK, I am going to run out and get coffee, do you want any?"

"Yes, please"

And with that Clint left to get the coffee, on his way put he saw George talking with James, it didn't look like a pleasant conversation at all. James looked pissed and George also looked pissed.

Clint had half the mind to go over there and stop it, but after what he heard he didn't think it would be a good idea. James just started to walk away and out the door.

His father followed him, James wasn't that old to Clints knowledge he was two years younger then Steve, James was only a year older then him. He lived with Steve who George thought was just a friend of James. George grabbed James wrist.

Just as Clint walked past, trying to act like nothing was happening George said, "Ciara. She. Is. A. Girl! You are a man. I won't have my son around any of those. Fagots! Or that Romanov girl, she is clearly a bad influence! You were just fine before you met her!"
