"Even if all of that worked," Ralph said to Nora." We can't just waltz into the hospital with our soon-to-be-named dampening device. If Dwyer smells us coming, he's gone."

"Then we do a time hack." I said as Nora sat the time journal on the desk.

"A time hack?" Ralph questioned.

"It's when you-"

"Plant something in the past so it's available in the future." Cisco said cutting off Sherloque."You go back, you take the device and you hide it near the hospital, somewhere it won't be found for five years."

"So you and your father go back to the past," Sherloque started." To defeat Cicada in the future, quite an off-the-cut plan you guys have come up with." Sherloque said staring at us as if he was looking for something.

"Thanks. "I replied.

"We can do this." Nora said to dad.

"What?" I whispered to Nora." What if I want to go?"

"You're still learning to use your powers; therefore, I'm going." Nora replied.

"You can't use that as an excuse for everything-"

"-No!" Flash interrupted our argument." I can do this."

"I guess neither one of us is going." I said with a smirk as everyone dispersed.

"Really?" Nora said as I shrugged.

Nora ran to catch up with Flash, probably to plead her case on why she should go. I was going to follow to counteract her but realized I forgot the time journal. Unlike Nora, I actually care about the sensitive information in it. I checked the desk and the area surrounding it, but it was gone.

"Have you seen a little brown journal?" I asked Caitlyn who shook her head no.

I thought maybe we misplaced it but I vividly remember seeing it on the desk. Unless Nora took it with her... yeah, that sounds about right, she took it with her.

"For emergencies only!" Cisco said tossing the flash ring." You don't want to get caught wearing your flash suit!"

"Thank you." Flash said as he walked away.

I was standing at the monitors next to mom as Nora sat in the corner of the room. Flash was preparing for his trip to the past as we watched.

I saw how mom and flash stared at each as he continued getting ready. It was like they were having a silent conversation before he turned to Nora.

"Come on!" He said to Nora.

"What? Nora gets to go?" I said." Can I go? I can help also!"

"Not this time Dawn," Flash said." When you increase your speed and a little more training. You'll be ready to join us on the next mission." He said before leaving the room.

"That's not fair!" I mumbled." And I'm not that slow."

"It's okay." Mom said trying to cheer me up." You get to hang out with me instead."

"No offense, but that's not as fun as time traveling." I said bummed as mom wrapped her arm around my shoulders.

We tracked Nora and flash as they ran around the particle accelerator. Ralph began playing "Back in time" By Huey Lewis and the news.

"What?" He said as everyone stared at him." When am I going to get the chance to do that."

"I think it fits the occasion." I shrugged.
