The h/c-haired girl looked up. Y/n. Yes, that's her name. It has been the moment she was born and will forever be hers, a title that'll follow her even after death. In front of her stood a young woman with similar h/c hair and bright e/c eyes. Her older sister.

"It was the usual. How was your day at work, Hiromi?" Y/n asked.

"It was good. I finally finished organizing the donations and I'm going to soon be able to meet up and give them to different organizations." Hiromi smiled.

"Good for you." Y/n said as she walked over to her room and placed her bag on a desk.

"I also cut some fruit if you want some. It's a bit hot today so it goes good with the weather." Hiromi peeked into the room with a smile.

"Okay, I'll get some right now. First, I'm going to change." Y/n said as Hiromi nodded and left the room, closing the door.

Once Y/n finished changing into casual clothes, she walked into the kitchen and spotted Hiromi who sat at the table, watching from the television that sat on a counter. The girl served herself a plate of fruit and sat at the table, looking at the TV.

"Sooo, do you have any plans for today or tomorrow?" Hiromi asked, glancing at Y/n.

"Yup. I have to attend a Toman meeting." Y/n replied.

"Okay, please be careful though." Hiromi said.

"Don't worry, I will. And it's just a meeting anyways." Y/n sighed with a smile, looking at Hiromi who pouted.

"You can never be too careful." Hiromi said.

"Yeah yeah."

Then, both of their eyes shifted to the side just to see a long creature run over to Y/n.

"He's very hyper when you're here. If you're not, he lazes around." Hiromi chuckled as Y/n stood up with the creature in her arms.

"Cat must be hungry." Y/n said as she prepared some food for the ferret.

Cat. Yes, the ferret's name is Cat. Why though? That's a story for another time. For now, Y/n, Hiromi, and Cat will spend their time together until night comes.

Stepping outside, Y/n now wore black pants as a black coat with golden embroidery hung down her shoulders, a grey shirt underneath. She walked forward and sat on a motorcycle, a Yamaha RZ350.

"Bye-bye, Y/n!"

The girl turned her head to see Hiromi waving from her window.

"Bye-bye, Hiromi!" Y/n waved back with a smile before leaving.

The girl felt at ease on her way through the night traffic, handlebars narrowly avoiding outstretched car mirrors and her shoes brushing against her the tires, until she got to the front to wait. The breeze skimmed her skin as a few strands of her hair blew back. She remained just another anonymous commuter until the light turned green and she sped down the road.

Soon, she made it to a shrine where other motorcycles were parked around, a crowd of people in identical black uniforms chattering. The girl stopped beside a tree and got off, putting her hands in her pockets as she walked towards the crowd. But, someone stepped in front of her, making her pause

"Huh? Haru? Do you need something?" Y/n asked the boy.

"Here." 5th Division Vice Captain, Sanzu Haruchiyo said, holding out a colorful box to Y/n.

Y/n blinked in confusion before taking the box and opening it. There were chocolates and brownies.

"Oh. Thanks, Haru." Y/n said, the corners of her lips tilting up as her eyes met the boy's eyes.
