The rain poured down the grey cloudy sky and I sat in my room all evening. Literally no one to chill with because we lived in a rural boring ass neighborhood.
My Father was Native-American and my mother was a Tita from costa rica. That made me a Native-Latina in my case.
I'm a 5'3 stem. Olive skinned Complexion. Shoulder lengthed curly hair but most times I just had it in a low pony tail.
I walked down the stairs and I creeped into the dining room where my parents were. They were having a quiet conversation.
"Hey mamá, papa. Can I talk to you guys about something."
My parents looked at me.
"What's wrong mija?"
My father said waiting for me to speak.
"I feel...different."
I wasn't sure how to say it.
"What do you mean?"
My mother asked and grabbed my hand holding it in hers.
"I'm attracted to the same gender."
I muttered. They both looked at me in deep shock, like they just saw a ghost or worse.
My mother quickly let go of my hand and just tjat quick her expression changed. From worried to upset. She began crying my father hurtied to her side.
"Go to your room."
He yelled at me demanding me.
I did just that. I felt so upset."Mi Esposa, please do not cry. This evil inside our daughter will soon be rid of."
As I was making my way to the stairs I over heard what my father said. That hurt me so deep. A rush of tears started to fill my tear ducts, my face was puffy and red. It heart so bad.
