"What about you, Louis?" Yakumo was expecting a favorable answer from Louis.
"Maybe later, I need to do something first." Louis rejected Yakumo, then walked towards his room.
"I knew he was going to say that, come on Ayn, let's go just the two of us."
Ayn stopped looking at Louis and followed Yakumo, he wanted to follow him, but he already agreed to accompany Yakumo.
When they arrived at the hot spring area, they took off their clothes and wrapped a towel around their waist. At first Yakumo wanted Louis to be here with them, however, after thinking about the situation for a while, he concluded that Ayn would faint from seeing the naked body of his crush.
Yakumo entered inside the water, relaxing himself, while Ayn just dipped his feet in the water. He didn't felt the urge to soak his body, nor did he need to relax himself, then why did he accept Yakumo's offer? Rejecting him was difficult, at the same time he wanted to spend more time with his comrade, that's why he's here right now.
"Don't just sit there, enter the water and sit by my side." Yakumo offered to Ayn.
With hesitation, Ayn entered the water and sat down close to Yakumo. However, neither of them said a single word, suddenly the silence soon filled the room. There was no topic Yakumo could talk about with Ayn, his comrade looks like a reserved person who's not interested in many things.
Maybe talking about Louis could pick his interest, even so, Yakumo didn't want to talk about him and even if he wanted to, he didn't know much about him. The minutes passed without Yakumo being able to establish a conversation with Ayn, he was starting to feel sleepy so, he decided to go back to his room.
"I'll go back now." Yakumo stands up: "Are you coming?"
Ayn nodded and gets up too. The two get dressed, then leave the hot spring's area. Yakumo said goodbye to Ayn, then headed towards his room. Ayn suddenly felt a bit lonely, he knows that he can't be together with Louis and Yakumo all the time, but he can't help feeling this way.
To distract himself, he sat down on the stool and began to play the piano. Like before the melody he played was a sad one; the same melody; the only melody his mind would play over and over again.
When he played this melody, he felt that someone was singing to his melody in the past, and another person watched them attentively. Ayn was sure that he had a past, that he's not a part of Rathion. But he's still confused about his feelings towards Louis, it was like those feelings doesn't belong to him.
If a part of Rathion is inside Ayn's body, then that explains the reason why Ayn fell in love with Louis the first time he saw him. This feelings of love doesn't belong to Ayn, this love belongs to Rathion and no one else.
"You will meet a person dear to you if you follow the path that leads to the Dried-Up Trenches."
A woman's voice resounded inside Ayn's head. He felt like he had heard that woman's voice before. The voice belongs to the woman named Io, the one who appeared in the memories of the first Chronos vestige. It could be that she is trying to help Ayn recover his memories, if so, then he won't hesitate to listen to her.
"You need to hurry, if you don't go today, you won't be able to meet that person."
Ayn hurriedly gets up from the stool, he quickly went to Louis's room, he had to say something to him before leaving. He couldn't leave the base without first telling his comrades, if he repeats his actions, he could lose them forever.
Since Ayn was in a hurry, he didn't knock on the door before entering, finding Louis shirtless and in boxers. He was apparently in the middle of changing, but even though there was something more important for Ayn to worry about, he couldn't help but stare at Louis for a couple of seconds before closing the door while apologizing.
Louis wasn't bothered by it at all, why would he? Ayn is a man too, so being seen by him almost naked was not a big deal. Even if wasn't a problem for Louis, Ayn was bothered by it, since he couldn't stop the heat rushing to his face.
He crouched down in the hallway, and buried his face in his hands with embarrasment. The feeling of seeing something he shouldn't see was etching inside his mind, rooting like some kind of plant. The almost naked figure of Louis refused to leave, Ayn still saw that figure so vividly.
Louis left his room, seeing Ayn crouching near his door. "What are you doing over there?" He approached him.
Without lifting his face, Ayn responded to Louis. "Never mind that, I want to continue foward, I need to reach the Dried-Up Trenches before it's to late."
"You found something?"
Ayn told Louis about the woman's words, also that he thinks he might get some of his memories back if he manages to meet that person.
