Before going to the Cathedral of Sacred Blood, Louis wanted to follow the Bloodvine and Ayn agreed with him. Finding the source of the blood beads was something Louis had been researching for a long time, he can't stop now, not when he saw that memory. However, Jack didn't agree to accompany them, he had something else to do and Eva followed him.

This time the Bloodvine lead them to the Area G-12 Howling Pit: The Howling Pit is an area that is completely covered by mist and is flooded with water where countless lost roam around. Searching in a place like this could only bring them trouble, that is why they need to be more careful than before.

This place is divided into two large sections, with their destination being straight down the middle of this area. The only problem is that the majority of the area is filled with water and fog, making it hard to move and see. However, there are a few areas with levers they can pull to shoot giant flames in the air, which can be used as a waypoint.

They head North-East of the Howling Pit entrance to find a lever and flame. It's located up a ramp with two large winged-enemies.

Yakumo grumble, "Why can't we advance without encountering enemies?"

"In this world not finding a enemy could be considered strange, and in places like this more enemies are usually spotted." Louis said those words as he charged foward, slashing the two enemies before they reacted to his presence.

After taking out the enemies and activated the lever to trigger the flame. Next destination was to head to the West of the last lever activated. From the ramp that leads down, it's straight ahead, West of the initial starting point.

They keep heading West, and eventually run into a huge Lost with a large sword and spiked rolling creatures.

"Fighting in water against this enemy might be or downfall." Yakumo did not advance any further.

Their mobility is limited while being inside the water, fighting against something that big could be dangerous. Hiding in the fog and darkness to pass through was a better idea than try to fight it, because if they are careful enough, passing without being seen could be achieved.

Ayn decided to let Louis go first, then Yakumo and him lastly. However, Louis wanted Ayn to go first, but he did not say anything and agreed with him. Going alone could be dangerous if one of them gets spotted, but the risk of getting discovered reduced a lot if they advanced one by one.

Louis did a good job, the enemy did not notice his presence at all, he was now safe. The next one to pass through was Yakumo, he did his best to make no sound and hide his big frame behind some big rocks.

It took more time for Yakumo to get to the other side than Louis, but what counts is that he managed to reach there safely. Now is Ayn's turn. He's not that big as Yakumo, still, he is bigger and taller than Louis.

He followed the path Yakumo quietly took and used the rocks to cover his body. Walking in water could make a lot of noise if you are not careful enough, so walking slowly is the clue. Luckily enough, Ayn reached the place where his comrades are waiting for him.

After this nerve wracking experience, they head East, finding a narrow path in front of a yellow taxi against the wall. They follow this path and eventually lead them to a ramp that leads upwards. In this place they found a dried up Bloodspring, so Ayn used his blood to bring it back to life.

Louis got closer to the tree and crouched down. "Alright, I'm currently tracing the spring's flow. Just hold on... gimme a moment." He poured the yellow liquid on the tree rots and the Bloodvine appeared showing the next destination.

Louis got up, looking at the Bloodvine, he couldn't believe that once again lead to the city ruins, neither Yakumo.

"Wait... what's going on here?" Yakumo asked in disbelief.
