Turning Red x Reader Oneshots ?

I had a rough long day so imma just write a oneshot that I've been wanting to write for a while. I'll get to requests soon tho.

Y/n was pretty popular at school. His grades were fine and so were his looks, too. He was popular for his personality and life advice he'd give to people.

As Y/n walked through the hallway some people greeted him as he walked past. "Hey, Y/n! What's up, man?" A boy greeted.

"Looking good today, Y/n!" A girl giggled.

He smiled at them and greeted them back.

But even with all these friends there was something bothering him.

Sure, he had all the friends he could've asked for, but.. none of them had interests the same as him. Truth be told, he was a major 4-Townie and hasnt told anyone.

Yes, he loved to be open towards his friends and he loved just being himself but there's always that one thing that you keep where other's cant see.

For him, it was his taste in music. Not only that, but also his taste in people. He was a closeted 4-Townie and he liked men.

He knew that if people found out he'd be bullied for sure, so, he decided to keep it to himself.

"Yo, hey Y/n!" A boy shouted out. It was one of his friends that he wasnt that close to.

"Hey, Conner! What's up with you? You seem happier than usual, dude." Y/n teased, nudging his friend.

"Finally broke up with Jessica. Feels like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders!" Conner smiled widely.

Y/n grinned proudly and replied, "Whaat!! That's insane, man! I'm glad you finally did it! She was a major control freak."

"Yeah, tell me about it.." Conner then paused for a second, looking in the direction of some other kids.

It was the outcasts, or well, at least that's what Y/n's friends told him. They seemed cool and Y/n wanted to know them better but he never got the chance since a certain boy in the group would push him away.

That boy's name was Tyler. He was a bit short with nice dark curly hair and braces.

He was never that popular, but he was still well known as the school "jerkwad", given to him by his now best friends.

People stopped interacting with him once he became apart of the girl's little group. But, that didnt seem to effect him much because he looked a lot happier with them, even if he's too stubborn to show it.

He was a bit mean to people, and Y/n didnt like that about him.

"Why are you looking at Mei's group?" I asked Conner.

"Oh sorry, dude. I used to be pretty good friends with Tyler before he ditched us to hang out with.. them." Conner made a disgusted face.

"Did he seriously ditch you guys?" Y/n asked.

"Yeah. He just stopped talking to us and only hung out with those weirdos." Conner said, glaring into the back of Tyler's head.
