Reborn in MHA as All Might's son

"What's going on?"

"A thunderstorm all of a sudden?"

"Dad i'm scared"

Parents at the scene tried comporting their kids, whiles the heroes were mentally preparing themselves for what might happen.

After all it wasn't normal for the weather to do a 360 just like that.

All Might instinctively powered up OFA and rushed to Arthur's side.

"Dad what's wrong?" Arthur asked 

"I'm not sure but don't leave my side okay?"

"En" 

Seeing the action of All Might, all of Japan had alarm bells going off in their heads.

They instantly became more alert and it was at this time that they also noticed the changes around them.

[I'm in Hosu so why are we having the same weather conditions?]

[Guys i'm freaking out here]

[Yeah one minute it's bright and the next it's like an apocalypse scene]

[I just saw a post about the apocalypse coming! Is it true?]

[To the brother upstairs, how do you expect us to know?]

[Look! Even All Might doesn't understand what's happening right now!]

[Could it be a villain attack?]

When this comment was posted, the whole barrage suddenly fell silent.

If this was a villain attack would they be safe?

Although All Might was powerful, this was something that affected the whole nation all at the same time. How could he reach them on time?

Citizens continued to watch the live broadcast in hope of getting some answers from All Might.

At the same time, the news of Japan's unclear state was being broadcasted worldwide. 

Some countries that were allies with Japan, had began praying, hoping for their safety.

Whiles others that weren't too fond of them poured themselves a glass of wine, waiting to watch a show.

Being the number one leading country in terms of heroes and quirks had made themselves a lot of allies but also accumulated a lot of envious enemies that couldn't wait for their downfall. 

"Arthur Yagi"

An ethereal yet domineering voice spoke. The beings voice resounded in every part of Japan.

The dark clouds that emerged out of nowhere cleared up in an instant. Brilliant golden rays of light bathed the nation in it's warm glow. They felt holy and pure.

"God's chosen one"

"A soul so pure that even the Lord could not ignore"

"Will you accept the Lord's blessing?"

"Lord's what?" Arthur heard the faint murmur of his father. He turned and noticed the bewildered look on his face.

It wasn't only him but also his mother and everyone on the scene. If someone took a picture right now, it would seriously be funny to see the usually stoic politicians looking so dumbfounded.

Unlike everyone's shocked mood, Arthur only felt a bit awkward.

'I know I asked for my quirk awakening to be flashy but...'

He looked at the rays of light that fell on him, 'Isn't this a bit much?'

Arthur decided to just go along with it, this would be good for his image as a hero anyways.

"If I accept can I protect everyone?" he asked with a serious look on his face but rather than looking oppressive it just made people want to spoil him more.

The being couldn't help but chuckle fondly at him, "Yes little one"

"Then I accept!" 

The golden rays of light to converge towards Arthur's body, engulfing him whole and integrating with his soul. 

"Arthur!" All Might exclaimed.

'So comfortable' Arthur had read a lot of fantasy books in his last life about how the protagonist's always get blessed with powers. 

9 out of 10 times, the process is described as a pain worse than death but his was quite the opposite.

'If I were to die this way, I'd pass on with no regrets'

Sadly, the ceremony did not last long. After a minute it was all over.

Arthur felt truly reborn.

Thinking of how he was before the blessing, it felt like his soul had been full of impurities and toxins. But now, everything just felt clean and pure.

It wasn't only Arthur that could feel this change, everyone, whether it was in person or through the screen could sense that there was something subtly different.

It was still the same little Arthur but they sensed power from those gem-like orbs.

Suddenly, Arthur's brows furrowed, seemingly uncomfortable.

"Arthur honey are you alright?" Yue rushed to her son's side.

"How do you feel my boy" Toshinori scanned Arthur's body, hoping to not find any signs of injury.

But before Arthur could reply his stomach did the replying for him.

growl

Everyone: "..."

Feeling the intense gazes on him, Arthur's face burned a bit. He coughed awkwardly, "I was too busy playing that I forgot to eat"

Yue smiled helplessly at her son, "Want some cupcakes?"

"Yes!" 

"Can I have some too?" Toshinori asked him wife cautiously.

"Have you forgotten that you're banned from sweets dad?" Like him, his father also had a severe sweet tooth.

Looking at her husband's expectant gaze, Yue couldn't help but give in, "Just this once"

"My wife is the best~"

"Um-hum" Arthur bobbed his head in agreement.

Everyone: "They're acting like nothing happened?!"

UA Infirmary

Recovery girl looked at the happy family on the screen with no expression on her face. 

After a few minutes of solemn silence, she switched off the TV.

Chiyo sighed and suddenly felt that the cup of tea she had brewed wasn't fragrant anymore.

"I was right" she looked out the window, "I'm really not getting any shut eye once the brat enrolls here"

I get how you feel though, I have a little brother that seems to love me fixing his problems at least once a week.
