"Really? Thanks, I guess." Y/n said, scratching her neck awkwardly and ignoring her heating face.

"Looks like fun!" Smiley grinned, looking at the others who followed after Takemichi.
"Let's join in." Mucho grinned.
"Wait for me! My Ema!" Takemichi shouted.
This caught the attention of three blondes who looked back at him.
"Your Emma? What do you mean your Emma?" Sano Emma glared.
"Oh, Takemitchy!" Draken greeted.
"Did you mean this?" Mikey smiled, holding up Takemichi's Ema.
"AAAHHHHH! Please give that back!!"
"You look pretty desperate. Okay! Here you go." Mikey handed it to him.
He then caught sight of Y/n and clung to her.
"Y/n-chin! You look so pretty!" He smiled.
"Oh, thanks." Y/n replied, looking away as her face felt hot.
'Why again?' She thought.
She then spotted someone and went over to them.
"Hey, Haruchiyo!" Y/n said as she swung her arm around the boy's shoulder.
"Huh?" He questioned, his face turning red under his mask.
"Here." Y/n said, grabbing his hand and placing something on it.
Sanzu looked to see a ring.
"Huh? What's this for?" He asked.
"You're always giving me somewhat expensive gifts, so I thought that I could repay you." Y/n said, taking the ring and placing it on his finger.
"Look. I got a matching one." Y/n said, showing her hand beside Sanzu's.
Sanzu stared, his face red and a smile under his mask.
People suddenly started cheering.
"What's going on?" Takemichi wondered.
"10 seconds 'till New Year!"
"Let's jump together, guys." Mikey grinned.
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
They all jumped and shouted, "Happy New Year!"
Y/n laughed as Yuki suddenly appeared, but he fell onto Takemichi.
"Ack-!"
"Yuki?!"
"Sorry, dude! I'm just hungry."
"How does that explain you falling onto me...?!"
"I get dizzy and delusional when I'm hungry, so when I saw you, I thought you were a chicken! I just wanted a chicken sandwich or nuggets."
"A chicken?! How were you gonna make food here with a live animal?!"
"I don't know! I was probably gonna send you somewhere or stab a stick through you and place you above a fire."
"WHAT-?!"
