Emily's life and very identity are ripped from her grasp. With fate smiling cruelly down on her, she must leave her home and family behind. She's whisked away into a witness protection program. Will she live to see the day she can testify against th...
"Are you sure you want this one?" Jungkook points his finger to the floor, and I jump up and down giggling. "Yes! Absolutely, I love it!" He puts his hand on my shoulder to stop my bouncing. "Okay, I'll go talk to her." He walks off to find the realtor.
It's been eight months since Yoongi was put away. As my life slowly came back into view, I felt like something was missing. A part of me was missing my previous life, my fake life. And I found myself missing the little house in my perfect suburbia.
So, Jungkook and I are house hunting in Ithaca, right in the neighborhood where we stayed for weeks. I fell in love with the people here, the quiet peace that laid across this town. There weren't cars honking, people screaming or cussing, there wasn't always someone bumping into you.
I learned that I crave peace now. I have lived an exciting enough life now and I just want to enjoy the peace and quiet with the man I love with all of my heart. I wanted us to grow old here, have children here. I could see a little Jungkook running around in the yard or riding his bike on the sidewalks.
I crave normalcy.
Jungkook reapproaches me and hugs me from behind. He leans forward and plants a kiss on my neck. "I put in the offer. She's going to make a call and let us know." I smile and lean back against him.
This all felt so right. I finally felt like I was in the right place at the right time. I was meant to meet Jungkook and fall in love with him. I was meant to live in this house. That being said, I knew the realtor's answer before she even walked back towards us.
"The owners accept your offer!" Jungkook cheers and kisses my cheek hard, I smile. The realtor high fives us and we are bubbling with excitement. Jungkook and I would be moving in together now. We already knew we would make perfect roommates. We had plenty of time to put that to the test.
We dance through the doorway of our soon to be home and head back to his car. Once we're back inside, we squeal and celebrate more, doing awkward, cramped dance moves.
"I'm so happy baby!" Jungkook's smile takes over his face and he leans in to give me a kiss. "Me too! But there's one more place we need to go!" He sits back and looks at me perplexed. I smile, "Take me back to Serendipity. I want my job back."
He tilts his head but puts the car in drive and takes us into town.
Parking outside of the flower shop, he looks at me with worry-filled eyes. I pat his cheek lovingly. "You don't have anything to worry about. I'm in love with you and only you." I lean over the console and give him a soft kiss; he grins against my lips.
I head inside the flower shop and seek out Jimin. He pops his head up from the counter and sees me. "Anna!" He runs over to me, he looked so surprised. I chuckle at the wrong name. "Jimin, can I have my job back?" He crosses his arms and looks at me cautiously.
"Maybe, if you tell me why you vanished into thin air." I laugh off his attitude and place my arm around his shoulders. "Well, have you seen the news about Suga, the gang leader?" He nods and I begin to tell him my story. His eyes grew impossibly bigger with each sentence I tell him.
Jimin sighs and rubs the back of his head. I think I just blew his mind. "So, who are you really then?" I grin, glad that he wanted to know.
"I'm Emily, I used to be a nurse. But I don't want that anymore. I want a relaxing job. Something I can enjoy doing and throw myself completely into. I just want the most boring life I can possibly have now." Jimin laughs, his eyes disappearing. I hold out my hand to him. "Nice to officially meet you, Park Jimin." He grins and shakes my hand. "Alright, alright, you're re-hired."

With a suitcase in one hand and the other hand on my butt, Jungkook carries me over the threshold. I was thrown over his shoulder and was now kicking my legs. I wanted down.
"Quit squirming or you'll fall!" He warns me. Jungkook drops the suitcase and then pulls me down from his shoulder, not before smacking my butt.
"Welcome to your new home baby!" Jungkook spreads his arms out and basks in the glory of our newly purchased house. I giggle and shove him playfully. "It's our home, remember?" Jungkook grins and pulls me close to him. "How could I not remember?"
He presses his lips to mine, and I lose all train of thought. The world evaporates, disintegrating around me. Jungkook had this way of making me lose consciousness with just his lips. Every time we kissed; I was swept away into my happy place.
"It's you and me forever baby. No one will ever try to take you away from me again. I love you." He kisses me again, hard. "I love you too," I mumble against his intense kiss.
"Well, I carried you over the threshold. Do you know what's left?" I tilt my head at him and shrug. "We've got to break in the new bed!" I'm picked up again effortless. Jungkook is grinning like a fool in love as he carries me to the bedroom. I kiss his cheek and smile.
I love every minute with this man. I love everything about him. I couldn't wait to see what life has in store for us. I hope it's a boring happily ever after. Because that's what we both deserve.
