Don't Call me that! Sequel (Dark Pit x Reader)

Once safely back inside your own home, you went straight to the couch and flopped down. Luckily you wern't crying but then again, you were just more confused than upset. What were you supposed to do!? You'd been asking yourself that question all day and frankly, at this point you didn't think that there was a good answer anymore. you sighed and began to head to your bedroom until you heard a knock at the door. Upon it opening, you were surprised to see Dark pit standing at your door step

"Can I come in?" he said plainly as you stepped aside so he could enter your house. He sat down on the sofa and immediately turned to you.

"where were you all day? I've been searching for you everywhere!" he exclaimed, with an annoyed look on his face. Wait, he was searching for you?

"Well I've been around today...." you trailed off. You couldn't just tell him that you were extremely confused and had practically told half of sky world about last night's events. he just sighed and stared at you.

"Listen about last night, I need to ask you something" you started, deciding to take Phosphora's advice but wincing as you remembered what you thought might happen.

"Yes, what is it?" he was trying to act calm, but you noticed the slightest of blushes appear on his cheeks.

"So are we..." you mumbled as you turned away, all you wanted in that moment was to crawl away in to a hole and die. You could practically feel is eyes piercing into your back like thousands of tiny knives.

"Don't be an idiot." he said sharply. Any sort of hope that you had of him liking you was shattered to pieces. You felt tears sting you eyes as you opened your mouth to respond, but before you could the dark angel spoke again.

"I wouldn't have kissed you if I didn't like you" You turned swiftly around and looked into his scarlet eyes; you could see the sincerity in them.Every worry from earlier that day disappeared as you ran into his arms and held on to him, enjoying the feeling of being near to him and knowing that your feelings weren't one sided. After a few hesitant seconds, he wrapped his arms around you in a tight embrace and nestled his face into your hair. the two of you stayed like that for a long time, until he gave you a small kiss on the forehead and let you go.

"listen, don't go thinking stupid things like that again okay? I love you and always will" he than stood up and let himself out of your house while you just stayed on your couch, enjoying the feeling of bliss inside you. you got ready for bed and cuddled up in your blankets, drifting off to sleep..

It was only then did you remember what Pit had said to you earlier that day.
