Paths Crossed

Scarletts POV:

"Colin!" I shouted, that man never listens I swear.

I rushed to throw some decent clothes on and began frantically searching for my car keys which seem to always be misplaced.

"COLIN! HAVE YOU SEEN MY KEYS?"

"They're on the side bench near the door hun"

I snapped my head towards the bench grabbing my keys and thanking Colin on my way out the door.
I was insanely late for an important meeting, one where I could possibly get promoted. Perhaps not anymore because I'm FUCKING late.

I chucked my bag in the car, turned the key and sped out the driveway. I pulled around the corner almost hitting a black Range Rover in the process, quite odd because it was the same Rover from the day before...the day before yesterday aaaand the day before that, didnt take much note of it until now I guess.

Traffic lights and multiple stops later I finally arrived at the Office. 'Marsden Industries' one of the biggest corporations in the world and all everyone ever seemed to do here all day was eat sandwiches that weren't labelled as their own and drink overpriced coffee. That's me.... I'm everyone. No one even knew why it was called Marsden Industries, nobody's ever met the CEO or whatever.

I moved as quick as my legs could carry me entering the elevator. 75 floors later the doors opened and with just my luck, my supervisor-

"SCARLETT! you're late, again!"

"I'm sorry sir, I had to get my daught-"

"I don't want excuses JUST hurry up, we're already late for the meeting. Cmon move along!"

I scurried towards the board room with Ted my supervisor close behind. I pushed on the door large doors and tried to be discreet with my lateness. That didn't work at all, I pushed through the doors and all eyes were on me. Including a fine drink of water at the front of the room. I had never seen her before, she was tall but not tall enough to call her a giant compared to the rest of the MEN in the room, she had long wavy hair which was held back with a clip of some sort, a jawline that looked like it could cut diamonds, defined features some would say aren't found anywhere except fairy tales and a 抖阴社区 readers wet dream, all held together nicely with a blazer and long suit pants.

I felt her eyes bore into my soul, it was quite intimidating to say the least. Ted spoke up,

"Ma'am I am SO SO sorry we're la-"

"Get out" ms dreamy at the front suddenly said.

Ted looked startled and began to stumble upon his words.

"Wha- b-but"

"But nothing Ted, you come into MY boardroom late... then you don't come in at all"

I had no idea what to say or do so as a defeated Ted began clearing his way out i instinctively followed until I heard a voice.

"Uh uh, where do you think you're going?"

I turned on my heels with a confused expression. I pointed at myself and looked her in the eyes.

"Me?"

"Nnno Casper... YES YOU, stay in here"

Ted surprised out of his mind

"But wait I'm HER supervisor why does she get to st-"

"TED!" I watched ms dreamy lose her cool and recompose herself in two seconds.

"If I tell you to remove yourself from the room...then I expect you to do it. Now GO! BEFORE I REMOVE YOU MYSELF!!" through gritted teeth and all.

Ted scared shitless scrambled out of the room leaving me standing in the doorway like an idiot.
