"The baby is alright but the growth of baby is slow...You should've gained more weight by now. And the blood samples say you have iron deficiency which is not good for pregnancy and the baby's growth.Are you taking your meals on time or are you skipping it Mrs.Kim??"Jin lowered his head and Namjoon looked at him with a disheartened look.
"Ok leave it, Mrs.Kim are you stressing over something because your blood pressure is also pretty high.......You know high blood pressure and skipping of meals can even lead to miscarriage or even if the baby survived it will have some disabilities??"
"I will straight come to my point you strictly need a dietician and for high pressure I don't think you'll need a tablet but you need to do some yoga and meditation which my staff will give you a book for some excercises for pregnancy......!! And I am sorry if I was harsh because you guys seemed to be very happy about the child and usually 1st time mothers need to know about all of this information. Also there's for now nothing to worry about because it's the initial stage and eating nutritional food and mainly not skipping it can avoid all these problems....!!!!"
By now Jin was silently crying ,"No problem dr. we understand what you said and we'll visit the dietician's tomorrow itself." Namjoon said with a forced smile but honestly he was freaking out so much.
"Ok so next checkup is after 2 months and Mrs.Kim I want you to gain alot of weight and stay more happy ok? Enjoy this pregnancy phase rather than stressing over things and for now there's absolutely nothing to worry about actually this nutritional deficiencies is very common during pregnancy and with proper food and care you can overcome the deficiencies."
"Ok dr."said Jin sniffing a bit.
"Call me Noona no need for formalities here's my number call me if you have any doubts or even when you feel something's wrong"Dr.Choi said with a warm smile.
"Ok noona. Thank you"said Jin
The car ride to home was silent and Jin didn't like the silence at all it was uncomfortable...."Joonie why are you not talking to me"
"Seokjin let me drive don't disturb me"Namjoon said and Jin understood that his husband is angry because he never calls him by his name. He looked outside the window tears forming in his eyes.
They reached home and Jin went inside first to grab some water for himself and Namjoon.
Namjoon entered the house and took water from jin took a sip and kept it on the table.
"Joonie please talk to me it's killing me please say something??" "Jin did you have lunch today?? Namjoon asked in a very calm yet scary tone. Jin shook his head.
"Then why did you lie to me huh??Since when did you start to skip meals because everytime I ask you, you did have your lunch.......you didn't have breakfast because of morning sickness and I understand that you are unwell. The dinner is the only meal you have in an entire day; that's it......Jin atleast think about the baby that's growing inside of you"

"And leave about eating was I ever that type of husband who stopped you from working i understand that it's your work your passion it will make you happy not make you unhappy.......how many times did I tell you take some breaks between work don't take so much stress.....I waited I fucking gave space thinking this will stop you'll realise that you taking care of yourself is the first priority now not the fucking work"Namjoon said angrily and slammed the table beside which resulted to breaking of the glass and the water fell down making a mess!!
Jin who was crying silently broke into a sob because it was the first time Namjoon has been so angry.

Namjoon came back to his senses when Jin tried to kneel to pick the glasses up. He immediately regretted seeing the tears on his face. It broke his heart seeing his husband in this state because of him.He took a deep breath.
"Jinnie love come here don't kneel.....go and freshen up change your clothes since you've had an ultrasound..... I'll do this go and change" Namjoon said in a soft tone and wiped his tears away.He placed a long kiss on Jin's forehead and started cleaning the mess. His eyes became teary when he remembered how he treated Jin a while ago.
