Chapter 5

A couple of seconds later, Minji woke up. She widened her eyes as soon as she saw Seulgi and Krystal in front of us.

"Sorry, did I fall asleep?" She looked at me. I nodded.

"Sorry.." she apologized before standing up and bowing at us.

"I guess, I'll head out now" She said. I stood up before grabbing her wrist.

"I'll walk you there" She smiled before nodding.  I waved at my friends before walking away with Minji.

"What's your next class?" I asked before putting her bag on my shoulder.

"Anatomy" she replied before clinging on my right arm.

"Hm.. I heard that's a hard class?" I curiously asked.

"Yea.. but I like it" I nodded.

"Krystal.. she likes you, huh?" I glanced at her quickly beforr looking away.

"H-how.. did you know?" She smiled.

"It was obvious" I narrowed my eyes at her. Weren't you sleeping on my shoulders earlier??

"Do you like her?" She stopped walking behind the stairs before looking at me. I looked away.

"I did, before" I said honestly. She nodded before walking again. I confusedly tilted my head before following her again.

"But I've moved on.." I said defensively while trying to catch up on her. She didn't say anything but just continued walking.

"This is not the way to—" I got cut off suddenly by.. by her lips!?! I blinked a couple of times before pulling away from her.

"S-sorry" I said. She giggled.

"You're so cute. I've been wanting to do that since this morning but I couldn't because there's a lot of people staring.. sorry" She said while looking at me.

I looked ahead in awe before following her again as soon as she started walking. I scratched my head. She's the death of me..

End of Yoohyeon's POV

Minji's POV

I saw that, Minji. -KBR

Great, now I have a spy.. -KMJ  I rolled my eyes after reading her message.

Just.. you're going too fast -KBR

So? So, I can leave her fast -KMJ

You're heartless.. -KBR

If you're not in it, let me be. Bora. -KMJ

I rolled my eyes before putting my phone in my bag. On my way to the restroom, I saw Irene crying in an empty classroom. I knitted my eyebrows before secretly sneaking inside and locking the door.

"Joohyun? Wae?" I asked worriedly. She quickly wiped her tears before looking at me.

"Aniya.." She mumbled.

"Tell me" I hissed.

"It's.." I narrowed my eyes while waiting for her to tell me.

"Seulgi.. I miss her.. I can't stand seeing her with that girl" I sighed before walking up to her and hugging her small frame.

"Shh.." I shushed her trying to calm her down.

"Have you guys talked?" She shook her head.

"I.. have no rights to tell her what's on my mind anymore. We're over, Minji-ah" I nodded sadly before pulling away from her.

"I broke up with her. It was my fault" I wiped the tears on her face.

"Shh.. okay, stop crying now. I'm sure you'll get over this. Come, let's go back" I said before guiding her out of the empty classroom.

Of course, what kind of High School drama is this if we don't bumped into one of the main characters.

I looked at Seulgi in front of us before looking at Irene. I saw the worried look on Seulgi's face after seeing Irene's swollen eyes.

"Joohyun.." I heard Seulgi called quietly. I shook my head at Seulgi before passing her with Irene in my arms.

"You're not going to talk to her in this state" I said before she could even protest.

We stopped in front of the infirmary. I opened the door before dropping her carefully on one of the beds.

"Take a rest, then slay later" I gave her a smile before nodding and walking outside.

"Minji.. thanks" I waved my hand before completely walking out of the infirmary room.
