new beginnings

The next morning, I got a phone call asking to come to the office to make sure things were going well. I tried to move but I noticed Soobin still had his arm wrapped around me and when I moved, he pulled me closer.

"Soobin come on I need to go the company for a few hours to put a final touch on some things for your guy's albums." I said trying to get up while Soobin just moved his head away from me in protest.

Finally managing to get out of his grasp, I went to the bathroom to do my daily routine and changed into a new outfit and went downstairs to make breakfast for the boys before I left. While making breakfast I felt someone come next to me and saw that it was Tae grabbing the plates and glasses to set the table. After making breakfast I called them all down to eat while I put my shoes on and grabbed my purse and wallet Beomgyu stood up and said that he was coming with me. I was about to protest but he finished eating and went upstairs to grab his stuff.

I just sighed in defeat while I waited for him. 

"Hey it's going to be ok he just wants to make sure you're ok and nothing happens so cut him some slack plus I've heard that he wants to spend some time with you so it could be fun." the oldest said, taking that into consideration I nodded and looked up to see him coming back downstairs.

We left to go to the company and since it was a nice day out and we were not that far from it we decided to walk. While walking a few people came up and asked for me to take pictures of them and Gyu so it was fun seeing how nice they were, and some people just shoved me away to take a picture with him and he would tell them no because if how rude they were to me, so with that he grabbed my hand and we walked into the company.

Entering Big Hit, we took the elevator to the 7th floor to see the editors that were finishing up the final touches for Can't you see me and Puma. Beomgyu said that he needed to see some people and he wanted the music videos to be a surprise so with that he left and I walked into the room.

When I stepped in, I saw a few people that I didn't know and the main editors called me over to make sure everything looked good and it was all running smoothly.

A few hours into making sure everything was going well I went out to grab me and Gyu something to drink when I noticed that the person who kept staring at me in the room started following me. To make sure that I was being followed I just kept walking in different directions and he was still behind me. Probably just overthinking about all of it I went and stopped at the little café in the building so I got Beomgyu a cold brew and me a frozen hazelnut Frappuccino, while waiting for my drinks the guy was getting closer to me and making me uncomfortable, so I was looking around and waiting for Gyu.

While doing so I noticed that when my name was called for the drinks that the creep took one of my drinks.

"Sorry sir but that is not for you can I please have the drink back?" I asked nicely but also hesitantly, not knowing what he was going to do.

"Why do you need two drinks I thought you bought me one since I came with you and kept you company so I thought it was only fair since I had one of your drinks. Oh, by the way my name is Stephen I just joined Big Hit." he said while holding out his hand for me to shake.

Ignoring his hand, I grabbed the coffee before he could take a drink out of it and started to walk away. When I turned around, I saw Beomgyu walking towards me but before I could reach him someone grabbed my upper arm and turned me to face them. Stephen looked at me with a shocked face and I moved away from him so he wasn't touching me and I was about a foot or two away from him and I also noticed that Beomgyu was next to me, looking at him I handed him his coffee and smiled at him.

Stephen saw him next to me and took a step towards me with an expression that sent shivers down my spine and I stepped behind Beomgyu a little bit and Stephen smirked at that knowing I was scared.

"Not so tough now are you Sam." he said then looked at Gyu "But what would I expect from you being protected by Idols all because you are hiding from someone isn't that right." he stated and looked behind him to look at me.

Beomgyu took a step forward to make sure that I wouldn't get hurt. Looking up and down the man Infront of him and rolled his eyes.

"What are you going to do about it? It's not like you know her and why she went behind me so I suggested you go back to your work and leave her alone." He said he was getting mad to the point where his knuckles turned white and his fingernails were digging into his palms.

Realizing what was going on I grabbed him to calm him down while Stephen just scoffed and was about to walk away until Gyu grabbed him, turned him around and punched him in the nose and made him fall. I stood there shocked and couldn't move, Beomgyu looked at me and hugged me telling me that it was ok, we both decided to just go home and call it a day.

Walking home I realized that he was a bit behind me more than usual so I stopped and looked at him but noticed that he had tears running down his cheeks while biting his lip to not make a sound. I could see from the way he was looking down that he was scared to talk to me, cupping his cheeks to make him look at me he completely broke down and hugged me.

"I-I-I'm so sorry," he said but his words were cracking and stuttering, "I'm sorry that I made you scared of me I-I-I I just wanted to protect you and I saw how uncomfortable you were and it-it it made me so mad how he was talking to me and I let my anger get the best of me I-I-I I'm so sorry." He continued while avoiding eye contact with me.

I hugged him and he buried his head into the crook of my neck and started to cry harder and he hugged me tighter

"Hey its ok I'm not mad at you Beomgyu I promise I'm not I'm surprised that all of you guys keep sticking up for me and keep protecting me I'm so grateful for it and I say thank you for helping me when I need it." I say tearing up as well trying not to cry.

Finally calmed down and we continued to walk home. Getting closer to the house I saw Kai waiting for us, he looked at us and jumped up and down, throwing himself at Beomgyu that made him stumble back and they almost fell to the ground but with his balance and me keeping a hand on Gyu he stood up straight and just chuckled because of the younger's behavior. Letting go of Beomgyu, Kai moved to hug me and then proceeded to drag us inside. 

As soon as we stepped into the house the whole room smelled like chocolate and baked goods, Yeonjun was in the kitchen trying to make dinner for everyone but Tae was trying to to make cookies which make Jun frustrated. smiling at it all I take over and tell Tae that to put it all in the fridge and you can finish after dinner cause Yeonjun is getting flustered and to let him be. After he left I helped the eldest in the kitchen and started helping with setting the table, thinking about it its almost like deja vu when I first stayed with them which made me chuckle at myself thinking about how much I've come with the guys.

"What are you laughing about because I dont think that chopsticks are funny so what you thinking about?" The eldest said while staring at me and looking down at the utensils and looking at me with his eyebrow raised.

"Nothing I was just thinking this is the same thing we did when I first came here but the first time I broke a glass. It also made me realize how far I've come just in the short time I've been here." I commented on while giving him a small smile.

He just smiled and went back to the stove to finish making the food. Noticing how Yeonjun was cooking and how he was very fast on his feet I realized that its not just dancing that they are light on thier feet, cause I've also noticed that Beomgyu was the same way when we went out today whenever I was getting uncomfortable he would move around then quickly just to get to me and we would continue on walking.

Snapping back out of my thoughts to the smell of rice cakes and noodles, I called the others and we got settled and stating eating.
