Y/N: Your Name
L/C: Leaf Colour

It was 11am on a Thursday morning, and you were feeling kind of.. empty. Like there was nothing to do anymore. All you had to do in your room was play board games, like Monopoly that you had collecting dust in the corner of your closer. You just stared at it with an unamused expression. As if you had anyone to play it with anyway. You let out a sigh of defeat, and flopped into your bed, your arms clumsily flailing as you hit your arm accidentally on the side of your bed. You shake your hand as to help the pain, until you hear a sound coming from your phone on the opposite side of the bed.
The message was from the BFB group chat, that Lollipop had created for everyone competing in the Battle For BFDI. You stared at your phone expecting it to be Yellow Face spamming some advertisements in chat again. But to your surprise, Lollipop had invited everyone out to a picnic, with Gelatin agreeing. You didn't want to act too desperate for fun, so you let the notifications pile up on your phone until 5 minutes, when almost everybody had agreed. You replied with a simple "Yep, I'll be there!". You REALLY didn't want to make it obvious that.... heck, not even YOU want to tell yourself.
In short, you liked Lollipop A LOT. You didn't exactly want to admit it to yourself, though. In fact, she was mostly the reason you were going. Her voice sounded different than the others. While the others were confused about it, you LOVED it. You almost couldn't get enough. But you thought, "Come on now. Snap the hell out of it. Go to the picnic! Get over it!"
Problem is, that's easier said than done. You could barely pick out what to bring, what to wear or what to even think about. The thought of Lollipop was plastered in your mind. Not exactly much you could do about it. You settled for bringing some cupcakes and soda, and made your way out.
It was only a short walk from where you were. The L/C leaves were swirling in the air from the vicious gusts of autumn wind, and trees were swaying left and right. Heck, the wind was so strong you would fly away. The sky was crystal clear despite the temperature. It was pretty chilly, not the best weather in the world for a picnic - but it's not like that would stop you. You were set on your one consistent goal.
A few minutes passed and you arrived to the sight of several red and white picnic blankets placed scattered across the field, baskets full of snacks (which were familiar to you, given most were bought from a local shop) and your friends having small conversations.
You began to look around for Lollipop, figuring she would be somewhat near her team - a correct assumption. Her eyes met yours, and so you skipped over, somewhat attempting to hide your excitement, with the purpose of starting conversations. Only you noticed your failed attempt to hide your emotions. Luckily, everyone else was busy with their own conversations and lives. You shook it off, trying your best to focus on the task at hand - talking to Lollipop.
You sat down in the corner of her little blanket she had set out on the floor with all her snacks, and fancy teacups she had decided to bring. They were small and antique, with a floral pattern on them.
"Well well well. Look who's finally decided to speak to me after all this time!" Lollipop remarked to you.
"Okay, now come on, I just needed to speak-" you stuttered, before being interrupted.
"Oh, what, did you expect me to just make small talk? No way. You're actually worthy of having a conversation with, let's make it count." Lollipop teased.
You reached your hand out for a small sugar biscuit, and took a small bite after dipping it in your tea.
"So... what did you want to talk about then...?" you asked her.
Lollipop just grinned.
"I'm not playing any games here. Talk." she demanded.
"You tell me to talk with THAT grin on your face? What, do you want me to talk, or do you want me to keep staring at that beautiful face?" you blurt out unexpectedly.
While still processing what you just said, Lollipop grabbed you, and pulled you closer towards her. Your brain was processing so much at once, so you stared right at her with a deadpan gaze. She gave you an amused look right back, her eyes almost piercing right through you.
"I don't know. Keep giving me that look, and I don't think much talking will need to be done, darling."
That was all she needed to say before you just grabbed her by her cheeks and pressed your lips against hers, a little panicked, but it definitely worked. It worked enough for even Lollipop to be impressed by your levels of passion. To her, that was the perfect action for that circumstance. However, being naïve as you are, you had no clue that was the right thing to do. Your brain was whizzing around, like that of a ball.
"Do I apologise? Do I?"
You weren't given much time to think anyways. Lollipop had other plans.
She planted a box right in front of you. The box was round, and a dark red colour, which appeared to be textured like velvet, with a silky black ribbon wrapped around it, elegantly tied so you'd know she did the job."Just take this box home with you... you've made me nervous enough already. This is all I needed. Now go... I can't go without kissing you again..." she anxiously told you, with a raised voice.
From then on, you decided to take a breather.
You had no idea that was going to work.
