"Hyung, wanna come out for lunch?"
Beomgyu called Soobin and the older just replied him with a hum and cut the call.
Beomgyu get to the cafe and found Soobin already there, sitting at the table near to the window. He approached the older with a smile on his face.
"Hyung!"
Since Soobin started to date Yeonjun, they haven't hang out that often. Back in the days when Soobin didn't date Yeonjun yet, the two are good buddies and always stayed together, and to be honest Beomgyu missed those days, because he liked Soobin, since they first met.
Soobin looked up and his eyes met with Beomgyu's sparkling ones. Comparing to the younger's sparkling eyes, Soobin's are dull and sort of emotionless.
"Hey gyu" Soobin squeezed out a smile. He greeted the younger and tapped the seat next to him. "I ordered two spaghetti and garlic bread. You still like caramel latte don't you?"
"Yeah" Beomgyu smiled and take his seat.
The food soon arrived. Soobin took a sip on his ice americano, and Beomgyu remember that Soobin hated bitter drinks. Soobin seems weird, he lost his usually joyful self, and it doubted the heck out of Beomgyu. But he decided to not ask about it.
The meal goes on great. The two talked about random stuffs, laughing and chatting happily. Actually, Beomgyu's the only one laughing. Soobin stayed emotionless and talked to Beomgyu while eating his spaghetti.
Not until Beomgyu found a tear dropped on Soobin's plate. Beomgyu looked up just to see more tears fell off Soobin's eyes.
"Is the spaghetti not enough salty? Why are you adding salt in it?"
"It's not funny." Soobin cried more because of the younger's stupid joke. Beomgyu panicked and brought Soobin out of the cafe, to the park near by for him to calm down.
(He payed for the food before leaving, no worries;) )
Beomgyu led Soobin to sit down on a bench near by. He hugged the sobbing older as Soobin continues to cry until he's so tried and weak from all those cries. Beomgyu waited until tears stopped forming in Soobin's eyes and gently questioned.
"What happened?"
"I broke up with Yeonjun" Soobin muffled in a huffy tone.
Beomgyu know that he shouldn't be happy, but a smile creeped up his face uncontrollably. He should feel sorry for the older, but the thought of having a chance to be with Soobin just simply take over his mind.
Soobin didn't notice the younger's smile. He quietly sobbed into Beomgyu's shoulders while grabbing on him helplessly.
"You broke up with Yeonjun hyung?"
"Yah, don't keep repeating it! It hurts..." Soobin pouted. Beomgyu apologised and hugged Soobin tighter in his arms. "It's ok hyung. No one can hurt you anymore, I'm with you now."
Soobin was melted by the younger's warm words. He nodded and wrapped his arms around Beomgyu's nape, climbed up Beomgyu's lap and closed his eyes. "I'm so tired." Beomgyu can hear how hurt and tired the older sounded and it hurts him. "You can rest now, I'm here for you hyung."
Beomgyu can wait. He can wait for Soobin to heal from those pain caused by Yeonjun. He can wait for Soobin to recovered for that past relationship and be ready for another relationship. And at that time, Beomgyu will not hesitate anymore and confess.
He'll get his hyung this time. Beomgyu will not let the chance to slip away. But before that, he's gonna stay with Soobin and heal his heart.
