I Didn't Mean To, I'm Sorry

I spent the rest of the day mulling over what Jodi told me,  I guess that's why I don't remember any memories before that "dream".     It's because my " dream"  was what my life was.   I just don't remember what happened the day Jodi said a caught a virus.    Who's apartment am I in?  Is this body robotic too?

I'm so confused.

And so I slept on it.

I guess the best thing to do when I get back to the Plex is to tell the animatronics as soon as possible.   Someone is after me,   I'll need all the help I can get.
My sleep was restless with everything bouncing around in my brain.  Waking up felt like an eternity.

When I was dressed and ready it was finally time to head out.  Second shift and things are already crazy.    Everyone was already gone when I got there,  getting in was the easy part.    Explaining that I'm Y/n the Bald Eagle to animatronics that thought I'd never come back was hard.

I check my Fazwatch and got the perfect task,   Check up on all animatronics.

Wonderful.

None of them were in their green rooms,  so I checked the main party room.    All of them except Monty were having a serious conversation at a secluded table.   Even Sundrop and Music Man were involved.

Felix was the first to notice me and wave me over.    "Hi Y/n."  He mumbled as he shyly snuggled closer to Roxy.    The wolf grunted at seeing me,  "Another nightguard?  I thought we didn't need one?"

Something old in me flipped on like a switch,   "Don't get too cocky Roxy,  we both know what that will lead to."

Her jaw dropped,  she stuttered to try and for a coherent word.  "The only person who says that to me-"

"Yeah,  I'm back.  But I'm in big trouble."

Felix burst into tears and ran to me, hugging petit form.    "I missed you so much sis,  please don't leave again."   His sobbing brought everyone back to earth and drew them in to the hug.

"Monty is going to me an emotional mess when he finds out."  Chica sighed,  humms of agreement from everyone else backed her up.   "Yeah, I know Chica.   But I have a way to get through to him."

"But the way, how long was I gone?"  I looked around at all of them.

Freddy looked down in sadness,  "2 years."
"O-oh,  well I guess I took too long in waking up.   My memory of that day are foggy,  maybe you guys could tell me another shift?"

"Yeah,  we'll do that."   Sundrop agreed as he slumped at the memory.

Maybe it was that bad.
