Chapter 3: Hanging Out: (Part One) :

Start from the beginning

After I found him, he said dramatically, "I am heart broken, my date is talking with another guy."

"Come on lets go in, what movie are we watching?" I asked as I handed him his soda and popcorn bag, while rolling my eyes at him.

"You just have to wait and see," he teased and I pouted.

"C'mon, we don't want to miss it," he said.

"Fine."

We never act as 20 years old people.

We entered and my phone buzzed, it was a text from Alex, somehow his texts never failed to put a smile on my face.

Jay snatched my phone from me before I read the text, "Give it back," I ordered as we sat in our seats.

"Not before I know who you are texting, you have that smile on your face that said 'I-have-a-super-ultra-mega-crush-on-someone'," he said

"I do not! give it back," I protested and took my phone back, I really did not have that smile, I only talked with Alex for what? A day? Two?

"I will tell you later," I told Jay then opened my message.

¤ Basketball sucks! I'm exhausted! What are you doing? ¤

I texted back:

¤ Too bad you are the one who choose to and I'm at my favorite cinema with my best friend watching a movie ¤

Him:

¤ Do you wanna switch places? ¤

Me:

¤ You don't wanna be with Jay believe me, if he didn't like you he will bore the heck out of you ¤

He didn't answer and the movie started.

Through it's middle, I got an answer from Alex:

¤ What makes you think he won't like me? ¤

I replied:

¤ I said if, now keep quiet I am watching the movie ¤

Jay stared at me with an unbelievable look on his face.

"What?" I asked.

"You are unbelievable, you are in the cinema with your best friend and you are texting someone else," he answered.

"Awwww JayJay is jealous," I said in a childish tone.

"Shhh, keep it quiet, both," someone said.

"Sorry," I apologised and continued watching the movie.

My phoned buzzed again it was Alex, seriously Alex! I told you to keep quiet!

It said:

¤ Ryan went to watch a movie too, he doesn't have go to the basketball center with me on Saturdays, whyyyyyy? This world is unfair! ¤

I texted back:

¤ Yeah I saw him, and you are the one who choose practicing on Saturdays. Now keep quiet! I am trying to watch the freaking movie and Jay is mad at me for texting you ¤

Gladly, he stopped texting.

After the movie finished, I saw Ryan on the way out so I waved a 'bye' then turned to Jay who was tapping his foot on the floor.

"Care to explain who were you texting in there and who you just waved at?" he asked impatiently.

"Why?" I asked while raising my eyebrow at him.

"Well, I wanted to spend sometime with my best friend but it seems impossible," he said dramatically.

"I love you, JayJay," I said as I hugged him, ignoring what he said.

He tried to hide his smile but couldn't and I giggled then we both let go.

"Come on now, to our favorite ice cream place?" I asked.

He nodded like a 5 year-old kid.

On the way there I told him about what happened with Ryan and Alex.

"Just be careful while talking to that Alex, okay?" he asked, I nodded then stepped out of the cab as it arrived to our favorite ice cream place.

We got our ice creams and sat at our favorite spot -yes, we do have a favorite of everything.

"Do you possibly, maybe, hopefully, fortunately, probably, luckily, by any chance, know any Alex?" I asked.

"Why?" Jay asked instead of answering.

"Weeeelllll....."

"You want to meet him, don't you?"

"Weeeelllll....."

"No, I don't," he said and chuckled.
