Sorry this chapter is so short but I'll make another one today to make up for it!
When Cale goes to town again without having to buy a bunch of bread, he decides to wander around a bit and decides to go to Billos's place to get some tea and a book. Everyone immediately stops what they're doing probably to avoid having things thrown at them since Cale usually comes here drunk, Cale shrugs it off and gets his book and tea to enjoy on the second floor. A little while later Cale finds himself glancing at the window only to find some guards denying entrance to someone at the gate. This starts to intrigue Cale's attention and tries to get a better look and sees it's Choi-han, the protagonist of this story finally making an appearance in front of Cale's eyes though Choi-han wouldn't know. Cale sees Choi-han finally turning away after being denied entrance but he knows that Choi-han will try to enter the back again at night so Cale will have to figure out some sort of plan before then.
After a little while more Cale gets up from his book and leaves.
"I'll be here at the same time tomorrow so save that book for me!" Cale says as he leaves the place. It's now night time and Cale knows that Choi-han has already gotten over the gate but hurt his leg in the process since he didn't want to hurt the 2 kittens that were there.
When Cale gets to the gate he sees Choi-han and he feels himself get nervous and drinks some of the alcohol he brought along.
Choi-han is insanely overpowered and can easily break Cale's bones like twigs so it's not surprising that Cale would be a little scared. As Cale feels himself warm up, he starts to approach Choi-han.
Cale goes to the kittens who have a striking resemblance to the kids from before and offers them some chicken. As they eat the chicken Cale notices Choi-han is observing him without making it obvious but since Cale doesn't know what he's thinking he just continues to feed the kittens and think of his next move.
Meanwhile Choi-han's thoughts are becoming quite interesting.
