◇ Location: Kiffel City // District 22 // Lunar Light Office

◇ Time: A Few Days Later // Morning

As the days went by, only by half of a week, it seemed that the office had been a bit more center attention than any other Lower Twilight offices of this district. Because of our investigation or instead I want to call it "Unknownity Hunt", it boosted our office's population about triple. It was me, Cerlia, the two men that started with her, and around nine more recruits had arrived to join through these few days.

All the recruits of different faces, all stranger to me but at least it's nice to know that our office is going to be full of working people. And the best thing is that Cerlia, who I forgot to realize that she's the boss of this office had promoted me as one of her custom special roles, the Ace Predator. She thought of Ace Fixer but since I was more of a combative type, that is what she called me.

In returned, I call her Ace Prey. For what reason? She wasn't that strong, but sort of lucky in a way. And definitely, I tend to follow her around everywhere.

◇ "Obsessive behavior, faithful one."

I'm not like stalking her or anything, EnNn! I'm new to being a fixer or rather, I'm the office's Ace Predator! Joke asides, my goal is in an office and help it reach toward the high-rank and a much better district. It may be difficult now but I'm pretty sure I'll be more powerful so I could protect the soul of this small place.

◇ "Hiding it. Now something very sus—"

SHUT UP!!! Besides, I'm not much of a romantic girl. If I'm more of a Unknownity lover in the past, then I mind as well... Actually, that's really weird now. They're more like pets and monsters, and even though some act like us human, it still awkward.

I accidentally bumped into an office recruit and my hands held stable on a table. I growled at them as I noticed a piece of paper falling onto the ground from the table. I reached down and grabbed it, noticing a warning notice from another different office within the same district. The Pale Office from District 22, Lower Dawn Tier. Two ranks higher than our office!

It seemed that one of their members had deserted the office with valuable equipment and is outside the street in hiding. However, there's been a few cases where certain people home had been burnt and also causing trouble in syndicate's territory under their office name. It's recommended to stay away from the ex-member or capture him if you're capable of doing. Then followed by a sketch of the man's face. Kind of like he belongs to a bad organization.

From what I heard about myself, I'm like those from the Dawn level. If that is so, then I might go head-to-head with this criminal. That is only if he's by himself. I'll be screwed over if I came to him and he have a small gang of deserters, with stolen weapons and pretty good skill for their tier.

"Oh, Suki, you seem so fixated on the notice." Cerlia's voice spoke behind me, scaring the living daylight of my soul! "Oh, my bad! Didn't mean to scary you. I'm very sorry!"

"Pffft, like you can scare me." I pouted and slapped the paper into her face. "You're good at running the office and putting simple task for people. As for me, all I been doing the pass few days ever since that investigation was eating, chatting, training, and sleeping. So, with the paper about some office deserter out there, I would love to take fresh air to go beat him up."

Cerlia slipped and fell onto the floor, the paper falling onto her lap. "Sorry, we haven't got a lot of good requests since we're still on the bottom. Although, I'm not sure if it's good for you to go out on your own."

I smirked and grabbed my axe, thrusting toward the ceiling! "I'm a predator, you're the prey that I keep. I can do it solo because it's only one person. How bad can it be?"
