I was currently at Target, getting some groceries. We were running low on a couple things so I figured I could grab some things.
Devin's currently at school so she was going to be gone during the day. Soccer season is starting so she's gonna be gone a lot.
She also got a job at a cafe so she's going to be busy. As I went to grab bread, I felt something hit my cart.
I looked to see what it was and my heart almost dropped when I saw Brynn. She tried to look surprised to see me.
I knew she hit my cart on purpose. "Vanessa?" She asked in a fake tone. I fake a smile towards her.
"Hey, Brynn. I would say it's good to see you but I don't like lying." Her face dropped while she rolled her eyes.
"You always know how to speak to your mind." I laugh a little bit. I nodded my head in agreement.
I try to get away from her but she blocked my cart. "I heard you were talking to someone." I look at her strangely.
"You stalking me now?" I half joke with her. Once again, she rolled her eyes.
"It's okay, I know you don't trust me." I don't pray but dear lord, please give me strength.
"Not after what you did to Crawford. But I have things to do." I somehow get out of her way and walk past her.
I forgot how much she irks me. I pull my phone out so I can call Crawford.
Ever since him and Nezza fought, they've been really rocky. I honestly feel bad she's trying to ruin their relationship.
He answered his phone on the second ring. "Hey, what's up?" He asked when he answered.
"Guess who I just saw in Target?" I ask with a hint of laughter. I could hear him groan on the other side of the line.
"If you say Brynn, I might actually scream." He half joked. I stayed silent making him groan again.
I could tell he was shaking his head. "What'd she say?" He asked. I continued walking through the store.
I keep looking around to make sure she's not trying to follow me. "She was asking if I was talking to someone." I tell him.
I see some Monsters so I grab my favorite flavor. "You didn't tell her about Colby, did you?" He asked worriedly.
Even though he couldn't see it, I was shaking my head. "Of course not, I don't trust her." I started to think a little bit.
"You don't think she's going to stalk and find out about him, do you?" I ask worriedly. He sighed while thinking about it.
"I wouldn't put it past her. Don't let her get to your head like she does mine." He advised me.
It makes me sad knowing she gets into his head. I sigh while thinking about it.
"Do you want to come over?" Colby's been filming with Sam for their youtube channel.
He's been busy with Sam, which totally makes sense. "Yeah, we can stream if you want."
I agreed so I told him I was about to leave Target. I tell him bye while getting off the phone.
I grab everything else I need and get out of Target before I run into Brynn again.
I drive to my apartment so I can unload everything and get my stream ready.
Right when I unloaded all my groceries, Crawford walked in. "What kind of food did you get?" He asked when he walked in.
"Did you only come over for my food?" I ask laughing a little bit. He just shrugged while grabbing a juice box.
He put the straw through it and leaned against the counter. "What were you planning to do on stream?" He asked curiously.
"I figured we could hang out for a little bit, play a game." I suggest. He nodded his head in agreement.
We spent a few minutes talking to each other and hanging out. We went into my room so we could stream.
We streamed for a couple hours. We played a game and then started drinking together.
Towards the end of the stream, we were drunk and it's the middle of the day.
We were laughing about something when we heard footsteps. We turned to look as they did the sound alert with the loud scream.
We both jumped and screamed, Crawford falling out of the chair. I started laughing harder at him.
"Are you guys fucking drunk?" Devin asked looking at us. She looked baffled that we were drunk in the middle of the day.
She came over and turned the stream off for us. "I'm calling Stas and Kat." I stayed in my gaming chair, my head leaning on the back of it.
Colby should've landed by now so I pull my phone out to call him. It rings but by the fourth one, he picked up.
"Hi, baby." He said happily. I smiled whenever he called me baby. "I'm sober so you don't have to worry about me." I slur while half lying.
I could hear light laughter come from him. I seriously love his laughter so much.
"Vanny, it's five pm in California." He laughed towards me. I shrugged even though he couldn't see it.
"How much have you had to drink?" He questioned. "Vodka." Colby started laughing over the phone.
I look down to see Crawford still laying on the ground. "I think Crawford passed out on my floor." I slur.
I could tell he didn't know what to say. "Is Devin there to take care of your drunk ass?" I start to smile to myself a little bit.
"You said you like my ass." I giggle a little at my comment. I could tell he was shaking his head.
"You're done, I'm calling Devin." Before I could argue with him, he hung up the phone.
I pouted while I sat my phone down. A few minutes later, Devin stomped into my bedroom.
"Where's your phone?" She asked looking at me. I barely hold my eyes open as I look over at her.
"What are you, my mom?" I joke with her. She ends up finding it on my desk and takes it.
I groan as she walks away. Stas and Kat ended up coming so they could help Devin take care of Crawford and myself.
Mainly me though because Crawford fell asleep on my floor. They fed me in and out and made sober up a little bit.
When I started to sober up, Crawford walked out from my room. The four of us turn to look at him.
I could tell he was a little drunk still. "Did you stop drinking?" He asked looking at me.
"They forced me to stop." I sigh. Crawford pouts while coming over to me.
He flops down on the couch and rests his head on my shoulder.
"I think I drank too much." Crawford groggily spoke to us. I loved hanging out with the five of us.
Yes, I wish Colby could be here, but I know he's out doing what he loves with Sam.
I couldn't be more proud of him either. Most people don't get to live out their dreams or do what they love.
Colby's one of those people that found what he loves to do and gets to experience it.
I do miss him whenever he's gone like this, but I know he'll be back soon.
I just can't wait to see his face in person.
