“But I hurt you.”
“Honey, wolves are different from humans. We heal really fast and we don’t feel pain the same way.”

“I understand what you meant about feeling you inner wolf.”

Michal POV

“I understand what you meant about feeling you inner wolf.” What the hell?! She felt her wolf… before her first shift?! Well hell that explains why she bit me. I pulled her into a hug, holding her together. “It’s ok, you’re fine, there’s nothing to worry about.” I could feel her shaking, if she wasn’t freaked out before then is now. She has a right to be though, sensing your inner wolf before the first shift just isn’t normal.

“Michal?”

“Yes Raya.”

“I think you’re going to have to give me a crash course in Shifter 101.” I couldn’t help but laugh. She was strong to be able to just brush this off. I released her but kept a hold of her hand. “Let me run and get my car so we can go somewhere.”

“I can drive Michal no sense in ‘running’ to go get your car when mine works just fine.” I smiled, she was just so cute when she was being stubborn.

“Lead on my sweet.” She gave me a smarty little smirk and led me to the front door.

“Um Raya honey, why are we going inside?”
“I have to grab my purse Michal. The truck won’t work without the keys.” She was teasing me and I loved it.

“Will they let me in your room?” My wolf growl eagerly at the mention of her room. +No, not the time or place for that; besides she’s not ready.+

“Yeah they let me do just about anything.”

“Why?”
“All the other girls are here because they got in trouble with foster parents. I never get in trouble so I do as I please.”
“Hmm… I didn’t think you were a goody two shoes.” Who’s teasing who now? She gave me a glare and I could see her lip lift, ready to let loose a snarl.

“They think I’m an angel, ha little do they know…” She grinned evilly and I knew there was a story behind that comment.

“You’re not going to tell me about that are you?”
“Hmm… No.” Knew it. She nodded to the matron at the desk, and up we went to her room. It was very orderly and kind of sparse.

“I was expecting a mess.”
“Nope most of it is packed up in preparation of me moving.” That explains the sparseness.

“Are you excited to be leaving?”
“Yeah but it feels weird too. This is all I’ve ever known and soon I’ll be in charge of my life.”
“What are you planning on doing?”
“Well I’ve had to have a small stable built and have fencing put up for Sky but other than just moving in and getting settled, I don’t really have plans.” She grabbed her purse and pulled me out the door, shutting it. She stopped at the front desk to talk to the matron. “I’m going out with Mr. Harris. We don’t know where of how long we’ll be gone, but I have my cell with me.”

“Have fun and be safe Raya.”
“I will thanks.” I followed her outside, wanting to know more about her.

“So you drive a truck?”
“Yep.” She smirked.

“I would have pinned you as a sports car kinda girl.”

“Nope, don’t get me wrong I love me a nice, fast Camaro or Mustang, but I love my baby.”
“What make?”
“I cute little Ford.” She was smirking again.
