Chapter 8: Missing Wing Harpy

◇ Location: Kiffel City // District 22

◇ Time: Afternoon

Outside into the wild, climbing up a stair to reach the ruined building's roof. From what Cerlia had pointed out, it should be around this area up here. After all, harpy was mythical humanoid bird so perhaps they lived in high terrain. 

Although, to rephrase this, she only said it's around this area and it has to be a roof you could go on. Lucky me, I had used EnNn to figure out the location of the Unknownity. No one knows anything better than the one in my head. A world overseer with sensory near the power of celestial being.

◇ "This is correct, faithful one. The creature is only nearby, so be cautious."

"EnNn says it's right away here." I spoke as we made it to the roof and noticed feathers scattered throughout the roof. "The Unknownity is nearby. Make sure you stay behind me. The bird might be an eagle! It might snatch us—gawr~!"

"It's a harpy, Suki." Cerlia replied while we both draw our weapons.

"I know that." I pouted and had a brand-new sword. The one from yesterday was severe damaged, it needed to be replaced. My eyes scanned the roof before only feathers. When I stepped on one, the dark feather would turn into shadow and became smoke that dissipate up into the air.

We explored the massive flat roof and it seemed to be full of junk and scraps. However, one thing stood out to us, and it was this crystal black tower holding a massive nest made from gray branches and small logs. There was no harpy or any sort. No monsters of shadow or eerie noises. 

"The nest is here. But not the Unknownity." She was closed to me, feeling anxious but putting up a brave and leaderful face.

The air became cold all of the sudden, although it could be the clouds blocking the sun and covering the whole roof with the sky's shadow. The feathers on the ground engulfed in its shadow essence, flowing on it like flame. Then the voice. An echoing sound of a bird in the sky. At first, a flock of raven flew over us, but they didn't make a single sound...

From the sky something quickly dived downward until it landed straight into the nest! Then the creature revealed itself. The front claws and leg talons grabbed on the nest, its four limbs seemed slender and its whole body is complete darkness. The face is a head of a crow, the beak was gray like its sharp claws and talons. The eyes had a sharp purple pupil and its back without any wings.

How did it get here from the air? But we saw it. Four dark birds went out of his back, flapping their massive wings and crowing. The Unknownity glared at us then shrieked, echoing its hurtful voice at our ears!

◇ "Missing Wing Harpy. Faithful one, this threat is more dangerous than the Spiderling Gear. At the moment, it is without wings."

I glared at it and smiled, taking a step forward. I didn't care if it's more dangerous. Yesterday had me boosted and now, today is when I get to see how much I've improved. Let me at the stupid bird, EnNn!

◇ Flight <> Goes above ground. Prevent Most One-Sided Melee attack from the Ground.
◇ Hidden Wing <> Starts on Ground Level. If Under 50% Health, Activate "Flight".
◇ Harpy's Collision <> During Flight and a Clash against Melee Attacks, reduce the Stamina of "Harpy's Impact" by 20.

It can fly? I don't see any wings, but according to its passive, it's going to have some wings after getting heavily injured. It seemed more of a spoiler although I'm not sure what would happened if I clash with it during flight. It caught my curiosity but it might be the death of me.
