Chapter 8: Missing Wing Harpy

"Alright, Cerlia! Don't be fragile!" I growled and went ahead of her, rushing toward the crystal tower and waving my sword at it, grabbing its attention! "Heyo, dumb bird brain! I'm down here, you bastard!"

The Unknownity growled and hopped off the tower, reaching its hand downward till it touches the roof. It landed lightly and was on all fours, its arms longer than its leg and I noticed its beak was empty, without a tongue. It slowly moved over to me, showing aggression and its claw. 

I slowly walked so its back faces Cerlia and I had my sword out for defense. It waited as it creeped closer to me before it started to reached its claw at me! I used my sword and jabbed at the arm, splashing water onto it. 

It growled and immediately attacked with the other hand, but Cerlia comes in back stabbed it. It went deep in its body, but it moved back and jolted her away! The wingless harpy charged at her and headbutt her into the junk pile! It then turned around and leaped onto the crystal, looking down at me and shrieked!

"Cerlia!!!" I blocked my ears for a moment before I noticed it right in front of me! I kept my ears closed cause its mouth couldn't stop shrieking. Although it seemed very inaccurate as swiped its claw at me around my direction.

As soon as it stops, I took my sword and stabbed its arm once more! I then rushed in close and stab! Stab again and again! And it pecked at my head, causing blunt damage and headache. I managed to regain composure and his talon aimed to grab me! I blocked and moved it away before I use the back of the blade and stunned his head for a quick second so I could follow up with a powerful slash! 

Chill inflicted it slowly. It backed away and growled louder, then it moved away more and noticed Cerlia back on her feet and not too hurt. 

"I-I'm fine, Suki! She smiled before quickly focusing.

It avoided making mistakes and can us both in view. It leaped onto the junks and then onto the ground next to Cerlia. It noticed the sword and snatched it before it pushed her onto the ground, its claw digging in her shoulder!

"Leave her alone!" I shouted and dashed quickly into a kick at the beast, causing the water to freeze up, partially spreading the frost. It seemed he was close to freezing. Regardless I got it off her and I picked Cerlia up. 

The beast roared and spat the sword out. It rushed toward the both of us and I came in with a deflect against the first claw. Its second was made by the same arm and got me partially in the body, although I hold firm and retaliated with a chill slash!

And immediately the harpy froze, ice covered its whole body! Cerlia noticed and picked up her sword and looked at me.

◇ "The Unknownity is frozen, faithful one. Damage it before the effect end."

"Let's do it Cerlia! Get that son of a bird!" I winked at her and unexpectedly, she blinked for a few second before she smiled and gave me the signal.

"O-Onward!" She pointed her sword and attempted to act like a leader in combat. It sorts of cute of her to try, although she's a leader in running the office. And I lead the reaper to the enemies without any remorse.

We both sprinted, she wielded with her right, and I swap hands and use my sword on the left. And then our swords simultaneously collided against the ice and shattered its whole body! At least that's what we thought when the ice broke. We would see the shadow dissipating into the air as the bits of ice fell down.

The wingless shadow harpy became stunned, kneeling but still alive with a lot of its essence still attached to it. It's down at the moment and once again, we did the same duo technique against it!
