You screamed as you ran out the door with your bags

It has been four years since you left, Since then you have lived in Toronto, a city with many cars and people but you didn't mind that since most people were nice, especially in Chinatown

Everyone was practically family to you

You were just doing your regular walk-in Chinatown to go to work at the Daisy Mart

All of a sudden you saw a Limo park right in front of the Lee Family Temple, and five rich looking women walkout

They all wore expensive jewelry and excitedly talked to each other, you couldn't look away

Not because of the expensive jewelry or their loud talking but because of a certain woman

She had messy hair, A Turquoise tracksuit, and white pearl earrings

She was the loudest talker out of the woman which let you hear her voice, it was beyond heavenly to you

You were so entranced by her you didn't even realize your work partner Devon trying to get your attention

"Umm <Name> are you alright, we need to start our shift soon" Devon waved his hand in front of your face

"OH yeah I'm alright, let's just go" You quickly ran to the Daisy Mart with Devon following behind

While running past the Lee Family Temple you saw her again but this time without her sunglasses

You walked into a pole and almost fell since you weren't paying attention to where you going but Devon caught you before you hit the floor

"<Name>!"

Noticing that you just walked into a pole right in front of the Temple's gates meant the woman saw you do so

You looked over to see the short messy-haired woman snickering with her hand clamped over her mouth like she was trying not to laugh. Your face suddenly felt hot and you ran off to the Daisy Mart

Fumbling the keys in your shaking hands trying to open the door to the shop, you couldn't help but think of the woman

"Let me help" You jumped at the sound of Devon's voice, you gave him the keys and he opened the door

You went to clock in while Devon got the store ready and turned the closed sign to open

    ×Time skip past some of your shift×

Nine hours of work has passed and you and Devon were bored and tired

The bell on top of the door rung signaling someone has came in, you didn't even care enough to look up from your phone

Until someone set chips, soda, and some candy on the counter in front of you

Grabbing and scanning the items, you look up and see the woman you have been thinking about

"Your total is 7.50-" You gasped when you saw her and fell off your chair but tried to cover it up by pretending you were looking for something, which made the woman laugh

"You're really funny, you know that," She said, laughing even more when you poked your head out from the counter to look at her

"My name is Lily, I know you have been wondering what it was," Lily said with a grin on her face

You on the other hand didn't have a grin, not even close to one at that

You were panicking and honestly looked like you were going to cry

Devon took Lily's money for the snacks and she left the store but not before leaving something for you

Devon closed the store and went to comfort you

"Hey <Name> it's alright, she is gone now" Devon reassured you

"WAIT SHE LEFT!?" You shouted

"Well yeah, she can't just stand there while you're having a meltdown" Devon explained

"I'm a failure" You were about to have another breakdown but Devon waved something in front of you that got your attention

It was a phone number written on a piece of paper with the words 'Call me soon xoxo Lily'

"She said to give you this" Devon explained, handing it to you

You were ecstatic, getting up quickly you ran into the back and clocked out

"BYE DEVON" You waved at him before running home

Once you got home you called Lily, You two talked for hours, and eventually met up at a local coffee shop

You told her about your family and why you came here and she told you about her's just leaving out the red panda part

"Your family walks over you!?, Just like mine" She exclaimed while stuffing her face with donuts and other sweet things

"We are basically the same huh" You laughed at her stuffing her face with sweets like it was like the last day on earth

And you wouldn't have it any other way
