"The two of you go and see what you can find about this body you now possess. Rhea and I shall pay a visit to Josephine." Elijah decided and he went to cup Rebekah's face with his hand, "A warning—you are not who you once were. This body is all too vulnerable."

Rebekah only rolled her eyes on frustration as Elijah grabbed onto Rhea's hand and the couple headed for the door. Marcel looked anxious as he called after them, "Hey. Josephine is an eccentric old bat with no love for vampires—or hybrids. Your charms might not work as well as you think."

Rhea only smirked, "I think our charms are quite adaptable, thank you." She responded sweetly, "I'll have you know I was a Mayor's daughter; I'm quite good at charming people."

Elijah smiled at her and they left the loft, leaving Rebekah to cross her arms over her chest in frustration and Marcel sighing.

Rhea was sat on the couch of their new apartment while Elijah paced around in front of the couch while they spoke, looking through a file full of papers while Rhea was seeming bored of it all, "Can't we just bring wine? Or coffeecake? Bundt cake? Any kind of cake? She's old."

"From what I can gather, Ms. LaRue was something of a musical prodigy in her youth. However, in her heart is the music she loves the most—" He sets down several pieces of sheet music, "Beethoven's Sonata No. 9, Opus 47."

Rhea looked unimpressed, "I hate that one." She deadpanned, "Made my fingers hurt when I learnt it." She pouted, remembering how many times she played it on the piano when she was learning it to please her father for recitals.

"Don't pout, my love." He tapped her lips, "And you're a vampire now—your fingers shouldn't hurt." He reminded her, "And I promise, your performance is what will open the door for us. If this fails, Rebekah will be in jeopardy."

"Don't remind me." She sighed, "I can't believe this is happening. Seriously, Elijah, can't we have one day where it doesn't end up in the shitter?" She asked him with pleading eyes and he laughed at her, "And I know he's dead; but when Rebekah brings Kol back, I'm gonna smack him upside the head for this."

"And you shall." Elijah assured her, "Now let's move."

"And why am I the one performing? Doesn't she play the violin? Last time I checked, I played piano." Rhea brought up, "Gia is the one who plays violin— which I hate to admit; but, we might need her."

"Because I love to watch you play. You are more gifted than anyone that I have seen and deserve to show off your talents. We don't need Gia." Elijah answered and she only raised an eyebrow, "And unfortunately since Ms. LaRue despises vampires, we need to show her that our community is comprised of a different breed. With a new sophistication." He winked at her.

"Sophisticated, huh?" Rhea teased with a smile on her face, "I suppose you want me in a dress?"

Elijah smirked, "We should adapt to our audience, yes."
