3rd person pov

"And why would you want to spend time with me instead of your wife?!" Hiccup looked at Jack with wide eyes. "It's not like I want to!!" Jack whinned.

"Tell me in detail, will you?" Hiccup rolled his eyes, still walking on the pavement with Jack alongside. "Haha about that....." Jack laughed nervously.

Hiccup glared at Jack. "Fine. I'll tell you." Jack rolled his eyes. "We kinda fought this morning before I left for work." "And why did you fight?" Hiccup asked.

"Look, it really was not my fault!" Jack pouted. "Stop being a drama queen and tell me." Hiccup clearly sounded annoyed.

"So I took a bath this morning...." Jack started. "Every clean person does. Stop beating around the bush and tell me. It's not like I don't know what kind of person you are." Hiccup looked at the road in front of them.

"Whatever... So you know how people use towel... And after bathing the towel was wet..... And I kinda left it on the bed. But look it was not even my fault and she started scolding me..." Jack pouted.

"It was not your fault?" Hiccup raised a brow. Jack shook his head. "Let me guess, you do that almost everyday." Hiccup suspected. "I mean... " Jack shrugged.

"Elsa has the right to get mad at you." Hiccup sighed. "Aaah I feel like she'll roast me on an open fire as soon as I reach home. You know it's Elsa I mean, she is mostly patient but when she gets mad-" Jack blabbered but Hiccup cut him.

"What is that?" Hiccup looks at a distance. Hiccup and Jack had almost reached Jack's apartment just when Hiccup saw something.

"Smoke.....?" Hiccup stopped walking. Jack looked at the direction Hiccup was looking at. Yes, smoke. Even though the source couldn't be seen so clearly because of some buildings, it can be understood that it was coming from the building Jack had his apartment in.

"It looks like it's coming from your.... " Hiccup was still looking at the smoke. "Elsa...." Jack mutters. Hiccup looks at him. Jack started running towards the building.

"Jack!!" Hiccup ran after him.

Yes, a fire. A really big one. It had caused because of explosion of cylinder in one of the apartments, causing the fire to spread and other cylinders to blast as well.

Most of the people were saved by the firefighters and also by themselves by escaping the building. But not everyone, Jack's wife, Elsa was still stuck in there crying for help.

She had slept in the afternoon, so, she wasn't able to escape by herself and found herself surrounded by fire as soon as she woke up.

The firefighters were too scared to go in because the fire was in a very dangerous condition in that part of the building.

Just then Jack reaches the scene. His eyes goes wide in terror seeing the condition of the place that was so happy and peaceful this morning.

Now, there are people crying and screaming, reporters here and there, firetrucks, firefighters trying to calm down the fire.

His eyes went through the crowd of people searching for Elsa. He could see all of his neighbors but not his wife. He knew it was useless but he still tried to call her. But no answer.

He ran to the crowd and looked around the faces of the people. No, his wife still wasn't there. He then ran to one of the firefighters.

"HAVE YOU SAVED MY WIFE?!! MY WIFE!! WHERE IS SHE?!!!" He was literally screaming. "Wait wait sir, every person we've rescued is here. Are you sure your wife was at home?" The firefighter asked.
