The One That Got Away

CONNORS POV
"Yes! Jude, yes!" My eyes started to tear up, no actually I started to cry.

I ran up to Jude and kissed him.

"I didnt think after you saw the ring you would want to" I told him.

"Of course I want to marry you connor, who wouldnt"

I had a grin on my face, if it was any bigger my cheeks would have been on my forehead.
Jude slipped the ring onto my finger and it fit perfectly.

"I love you so much" Jude kissed me again and it was amazing.

"So, what do we do now?" Jude added.

"I think you know" I told him.

We both laughed and got into the car.

My grin still held strong.

Later that day we took a trip to Marianna and Callie's place.

*Ding dong*

Marianna opened the door.

"JUDICORN!!!!" Marianna's 27 but she still has her 16 year old maturity when it comes to Jude. She instantly jumped onto Jude and squeezed him tight. Once he started turning red she let him go.

"Hey Mari" Said Jude.

"Hey Connor!, guys come in!"
Jude and I walked in and took off our shoes, and Callie joined us and Marianna in the living room.
"Hey guys, whats up?" Callie asked us
Now was the fun part... strategically placeing my hand in places the ring could be easily seen.

JUDES POV
Connor and I sat down and started to talk to Callie and Marianna.
"So guys what made you come by?" Marianna asked
"Not that you need a reason" she added.
Connor placed his right hand on his cheek... Showing off the ring, but only Marianna seemed to notice
"Well I thought we'd ju..." Connor started but Marianna cut him off
"OMG IS THA..."
I cut her off and gripped her wrist.
"come with me" I said and dragged her into a closet.
Soon after Connor joined us.
"You guys!!" She exclaimed.
Marianna grabbed Connors hand and examined the ring
"I always thought it would be Connor to propose..." She added.
"Well it sorta was, well... Sorta..."
"What?" She was confused.
"That doesn't matter right now... Don't tell Callie just play along with us"
"Okay, got it"
We all get out of the closet one by one.
When we come back Callie is sitting on the couch flipping through TV channels.
"Oh hey now that you guys are donw with your little chat, mind telling me we Marianna was Taking about..." Callie wasnt mad, just curious.
"It was nothing, i just thought I saw something" she said to cover up her tracks.
"Oh."
From that point on it was a game, who could make Callie notice first.
Marianna and I would make marriage puns and Connor continued to place his hand accordingly.
2 hours had gone by, and it was as if Callie was still clueless. (my clueless pun tho😂)

I'm confused, Connor, Jude, and Marianna are acting strange... Very strange. Somethings going on but I can't figure out what...
