The Frost and The Flame (Book 2 of The Fire Within) (Five Hargreaves x Reader)

(Y/n is standing in the alley leaning against a wall when she sees a bright flash of light and falls on the ground and Y/n runs to help him)

Y/n: Five are you okay? What the Hell happened?

Five: Luther threw me off the stairs when I tried to stop him and Diego from leaving. 

Y/n: Oh my god, I'm going to kill him. 

Five: When did the monkey learn how to fight dirty?

(Y/n leans back on the wall while Five dust himself off. She looks up and sees a figure standing on the roof)

Y/n: (whispers angrily) Lila....

Five: What?

(Y/n nods her head toward the roof as five looks to see Lila standing on the roof looking down at them, this time wearing a full black shirt and pants) 

Five: Son of a bitch.

(Lila runs away)

Five: Your going to follow her aren't you

Y/n: Yup

(Y/n and Five follow her, trying to be discreet)

(After a bit of following Y/n and Five see Lila run to an abandoned warehouse and smash the glass panel on one of the doors. She reaches inside to unlock it and runs in and Y/n and Five follow and end up behind Lila)

Five: What's your game, crazy lady?

Lila: Who cares? You said if you saw me again, you'd kill me.

Y/n: Oh, we remember.

Lila: Well, come on, big talkers. Let's get this done.

Y/n and Five: All right. 

(The 3 start fighting and Lila kicks five in the face then starts running, Y/n turns the floor to ice and it makes Lila slip and fall. Lila gets back up and runs until Five blinks in front of her and they start fighting. Lila knocks five back and starts fighting Y/n. Y/n grabs her wrist and uses her powers to heat it up leaving a hand shaped burn on her wrist. Lila shutters back and disappears.)

Y/n: What's wrong Lila? Can't handle the heat?  

(Five sees Lila near a phone box and blinks to her but she is gone when he gets their. This happens again but when she blinks she blinks in front of Y/n without realizing it and Y/n swipes her feet out from under her making Lila fall to the floor and Y/n puts her foot on her neck as Lila tries to push it off in effort to prevent Y/n from breaking her neck by stepping on it.)

Lila: You're better than I thought.

Five: (comes behind Y/n and looks down at Lila) And you are entirely average.

Y/n: You can come out now... (She looks into the darkness of the warehouse to see a figure she expect and all her suspicions about Lila were proven correct)
