Steve is your older brother!

(Y/N's pov)

I sat down at the graveyard with max and we both looked at Billy's grave. Me and Max gotten really close, we both understood each other. I had lost hopper and He was like a father figure to me.. I sat down as Max read out her letter.. That's when all of a sudden I heard a clock, it was chiming really loudly and I stood up and I looked around when i looked back at Billy's grave it was replaced with a grandfather clock.. " Max.. do you see that.." i turned to max and she was gone. " Max?!" I shouted looking around. The atmosphere was different.. it was now pitch black and the only thing showing light was the moon. The graveyard was surrounded by a sort of mist. I started to panic as I quickly started running around the graveyard. " Max?! Dustin!?" my breath became hitch and I started pacing. " Steve!? please Steve?! can you hear me" I cried out. 

That's when I heard a low and chilling voice come from behind me.. " y/n" it called out to me. I gulped and it slowly came closer to me.. " he's still waiting for you to save him.." it said. I started to cry as I instantly knew who he was talking about.. " I tried i-i really tried" I cried out.. that's when the thing transformed into Hopper. He was bleeding from the lip and he looked angry and hurt.. " I thought you would have saved me kid " he said.. I then gasped and covered my mouth as hopper tried stepping forward.. " admit you wanted me dead! If you truly cared you would have saved me" he whispered in his low voice. I knew this wasn't real but it started to get to me... " No! never!? you were like a father figure to me Hop" I said backing away from him.. even though it looked like hopper his warm and comforting presence wasn't there. Instead it was replaced with a chilling and unsettling one. That's when it transformed into my boyfriend Mike.. " or what about me?" it said. I then stepped back further " stop it!" I screamed at it.. " you never even tried.." he said venom in his voice as he circled around me.. " you distance yourself from me" he said. i cried out " no no i didn't mean to.." I said.. that's when he came closer " no wonder i fell in love with el instead of you" he whispered. I gasped and punched it in the face and it switched from mike to hopper then back to its original state.. I ran off and i kept running. That's when I came up to a red mist and now i was somewhere else.. " the upside down.." i said as i looked around. I started walking around the mist and that's when i noticed broken parts of something everywhere.. " y/n" it said i turned around it was just before. " stop it stay back!" i cried out. That's when something wrapped around my leg and i cried out as it dragged me closer to it..

( No ones POV)

"y/n you have to wake up " yelled max as she started to shake y/ns shoulders. Steve came running up to the graveyard and saw his sister with her eyes rolled to the back of her head. " NO! hey hey wake up " he said as he went down towards her and started shaking her rapidly.. max was just watching in horror as she could feel she was started to cry and Steve as well. That was his little sister.. it wasn't going to take her. " Henderson!" yelled Steve and he told him to try and get ahold of Nancy and robin. ' come on COME ON" Steve yelled as he tried thinking and he felt tears spilling out of his eyes. He looked back at his sister and covered his mouth and went back down to her " listen okay if you can here me.. try okay! you can beat this i know you can" he said that's when Dustin came back with max's Walkman. " max what's her favorite song?!" he shouted as he placed down all of the tapes. " what's this for" yelled Steve, max and Lucas. " NO time what's her favorite song!" Dustin yelled again. Max then remembered her and y/ns favorite song. " running up that hill by Kate bush" she said.. they then started quickly searching for it. " got it" Steve yelled and quickly put it in the Walkman and put it around y/n's ears and pressed play..

( Y/N's Pov) 

It lifted me off the ground and something started wrapping around my neck choking me. i gasped for air as it looked at me and said " we both know you deserve this" it said and i coughed out a sob and also a gasp for air. That's when I began to hear music.. and i looked to my left and saw the graveyard. Steve was yelling for me and i cried reaching my hand for them. That's when It stopped me and said " you don't deserve them.. stop now and i will help you rest" it said as it lifted its hand toward my head..  I gasped as it came closer.. I started to get flashbacks of my life.

 I laid my head down on mikes lap. we looked back up at the stars. The summer had been the best summer yet..  Me and Mike and the party just spent it together doing just random stupid teenager things. I smiled up at mike and gave him a peck on the lips and he smiled back down before kissing my cheek then rubbing it with his thumb.. we both understood each other and we both belonged with each other. He is mine and i am his forever..

Steve and me were making ice cream when i took his scooper and picked up some ice cream and licked it. " not my scooper " he sighed as he tried to take it. I quickly backed away and he smiled at me before chasing me around the shop. the customers watched us as if we were some weirdos. but we were.. we were each others weirdos we belonged to each other..

Max and me were sitting on her bed as we sobbed into each other holding on tight. we both cried into each others shoulder. both of us didn't dare to comfort another. i know that sounds cruel but that's the way we both liked it.. Just both of us sharing our pain and emotions while we held each other was all we needed. We pulled away looking at each other i messed up my mascara and it was all running down my face. she giggled at the sight of me and i started to laugh along with her and we both fell asleep in each others arms not speaking of the night just the comfortable silence.. We didn't have to explain our pain to anyone or have to try and fix it we just let it out together. it was refreshing and it was the only comfort we had.. she was my savoir and i was hers.

That's when i remembered what each of them said to me..

"  I can't lose you.. so don't leave me.. promise you'll be with me forever"

" no stop that... nothings gonna happen to you I promise. I'll be here and i'll always protect you okay so don't you think of giving up or getting killed"

" well if you were to die i don't know what I'd do without you.. you see i need you.. your my best friend. I'd follow you to the end of the world.. always and forever.."

I then ripped out a piece of its neck and it dropped me.. I gasped for air and i quickly ran towards the opening. It looked back at me and clenched its claw. That's when pieces of a building i believe started falling down on me. One fell close to me and i fell down in some blood but i didn't stop and i quickly got up again.. I then kept running and i cried out " Steve!?" and all of the parts were falling closer to me and I just didn't stop. That's when i was soo close.. I then reached my hand out and gasped. " don't give up.. "
