A Turn For The Better

Yuuri didn't have practice with Victor today so I thought I'd take the chance to go to the rink and clear my mind. It was around 5:15 in the morning and all was well tell the sound of someone waking scared me. How in the world? How'd I forgotten he was here? To be honest, it was one of the best nights of sleep since Yuuri moved to the states.

"Are you awake"

"Yeah, I'm up. You go back to sleep. I'm sorry to wake you, please forgive me." I said as I was getting ready to go to the rink.

"Where do you think you're going at this hour."

"I was heading to the rink. Why?"

"Alone!!! Without breakfast?!"

"Well, yeah. I was going to grab a protein bar and coffee/tea on the way out"

"I'm going with you. Who knows what creeps are out there at this hour, besides we need to finish or skate that your brother rudely interrupted."

"You don't have just go back to sleep."

"A promise is a promise, Besides after our talk I think I should go."

There was no way to convince this man. When he sets his mind on something there's no changing it. After we grabbed a protein bar and some coffee/tea, Victor said goodbye to Makkachin and before I knew it Victor gently grabbed my hand and intertwined his fingers with mine.

"So I don't lose you, Sweet-heart"

SWEET-HEAET?! I felt my face warm and knew I was eight shades of red. I turned my head in the opposite direction and looked at the floor. "Are you ok is something wrong"

"Yeah just thinking"

"About..."

"Excuse me!?" he seemed offended at my words for some reason "what makes you say that"

Victor looked puzzled by my statement. It took him a few minutes to prosses what I just said, "You are the Victor Nikiforov of women skating, I'm not exaggerating it either. And you're not just some girl, I watched you for years and I saw how much you love to skate. Then your injury happened, and I was disappointed, not with you but by the fact I can't watch you skate"

Did he mean what he said the whole conversation took the entire walk. What Victor said caught me off guard. "We're here come skate with me."

I got my skates on and met Victor in the middle of the rink. Victor took my hands and started the music. It was the music of my last performance. Before I knew it we were synchronized. I will admit that I was scared to attempt the triple axle. I felt the music take control of my body and before I knew it I nailed the triple axle. As the music ended I noticed Victor wasn't at my side. He was on the outskirts of the rink watching me. "YOU DID IT, I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT. I BEEN SO PROUD OF MY QUEEN!!"

"Q-Queen what do you mean"

"You went out there and ruled the ice. But I do have a question for you did you mean it when you called me perfect ?"

DID I REALLY SAY THAT

"Well yeah" Just then I saw Victor blush and turn away "I-I'm sorry. I-I ju-"

"It's okay I needed to hear that from someone other than crazy fan girls"

"GET OUT OF MY WAY LOSER"

"VICTOR!!!!"
