Michaeng Oneshot (Volume 3)

A day before Chaeyoung's birthday, Mina arrived at Seoul. Mina felt happy and at the same time sad, as she remembers the past.  She has now a good reason to be here. She felt ecstatic and excited to surprise the most special person in her life..chaeyoung.

She went to her hotel to have a rest as she informed chaeyoung's mother of her arrival. She was so thankful for Chaeyoung's mother to meet her for dinner to formally introduced herself and to confess her intentions for her child. She felt nervous but at the same time relieved.

Dinner came and she was early at the restaurant to meet Chaeyoung's mother. She was patiently waiting while answering chaeyoung's text messages for her. The latter has no nothing about her arrival neither her mother's dinner with her.

After five minutes, a very fine middle age elegant women who looks like chaeyoung in the picture suddenly appeared in front of Mina, the younger girl was so stunned to see how beautiful chaeyoung's mother is in person, and she wonders if her mother is so god damn gorgeous, whar more is chaeyoung is...

Mina stands up properly and introduced herself to the lady in front of her.

"Good evening Ma'am. It was so nice to see you in person. My name is Myoui, Mina. A friend of Chaeyoung, thank you for meeting me in a short notice.." as she extends her hands which the older lady gladly take.

"Myoui Mina, what a nice name for a prettly lady like you. I am  Mrs. Son, chaeyoung's mother. I am pleased to meet you too, " the older lady replied.

" so Mina, i can see that you are very interested with my daughter for you to even fly here in Seoul for her birthday.."

This caught Mina by surprise but nevertheless able to pull herself and answered politely. She has nothing to lose, if she really love chaeyoung, she must be true to her words and be honest to chaeng's mother.  Mina smiled as she thinks about chaeyoung..

"Uhm..Mrs. Son, Chaeyoung is special to me. She is indeed a very special person in my life. And believe it or not, i do care for your daughter. I love her for over a year now, and this chance of meeting her and being able to be with her on ber birthday is something i really look forward to.  Mrs. Son, i am facing you here politely to ask for your daughter's hand, i know you just met me now but please believe me that i am willing to prove myself for my love for your daughter if  you will give me a chance.." mina nervously said.

Mrs. Son smiled at Mina and replied..

" i know you are a very good fine young lady as from my daughter would always tell me whenever we talked about you, but to be honest, you are even a very good lady in person. I admire your love for my daughter Mina,  and your efforts to make her happy the most. As a mother, all i wish for my daughter is her genuine happiness that I know she finds in you. Please love my daughter as you can, and take care of her. Tomorrow, chaeyoung will go to Seoul Park, she loves to go there on her every birthday to think and spend her afternoon. You may go there and find her there, it will be a great place to surprise her and talk to her alone. " 

Mina's tears of happiness fell from her eyes as she hears chaeyoung's mother approval of her. She stands up and embraced Mrs. Son warmly.

"Thank you so much Mrs. Son for accepting me, i promise to take care and love chaeyoung with all my heart.."

"Please do not cry Mina..and please call me Mom..you are already a part of our family..i will see you both tomorrow at home by dinner okay? Bring her back to our house"

" thank you mom..and yes i will do that.."

With that, the two ladies meet up was ended and Mina was so happy of the results. She couldn't believe this is really happening and most of all, she got Chaeyoung's mom's approval of her.
