"Little ol' me?" You walked up to your car. "Maybe."

"Maybe? You aren't going to ask him out or anything?" Nicole and you stood by your car now.

"No." You unlocked your car and slid in feeling the cold leather underneath you.

"So you're really gonna pass up the opportunity to date on of the hottest people hawkins has ever seen and will see?" She asked in disbelief

"Yeah..." you chided. "Look Nicole, I get you like him but don't come barking at me because he flirted with me."

You twisted your keys, your engine revved and the car vibrated. Nicole scoffed before stomping away.

Next day you were busy drawing squiggles on a ripped piece of paper you had gotten from your textbook.

Your foot tapped against the tiled floor of your English class. Small hums left your lips from "Heavens on Fire"

"Good taste." He turned back to focus on the lesson, your teacher. Mrs Riley explaining the whole plot of Romeo and Juliet.
