Walking through the doors of the cafeteria my ears were filled with its usual loud chatter.
There's never been a quiet day here especially since I've been come Master Lins favorite student, and since Saya left and as well as her return.

I walk towards my regular table. Where the rats sit. I was always invited to join the other groups but I decided against it knowing that it had only to do with me being popular and my reputation.

The rats are my real friends. They'll stick with me till the end.

"Hey, how did it go?"Billy greeted once I sat down. "How did what go?" "Your homework idiot."

"Rude much. It went well, an easy kill." I answered sarcastically while shoving food in my mouth.

I and another student were assigned to assassinate a person from a local cartel do to them causing trouble. No one of much importance. But you could tell by all the blood and fresh cuts on me that it got nasty.

Petra seemed to be staring off into the detence." What's up, Petra?"

She cautiously lift her finger and pointed behind me." That traitor has done nothing but stared at you and us."

I didn't have to look to know who she was talking about. Saya, the traitor that's what everyone calls her since she left. No one wants to be near her. She was the reason that Master Lins wife died, the reason that I and Maria broke up. The reason for many things.

Some students have recently been killed. Most us blame her. But it was unusual the way they died. No physical signs of what could've happened to them.

If given the chance many people would kill her, surely. She's tried talking to us but we've ignored her every chance we've gotten.

"Don't worry love. She's just jealous."
Lex piped up while admiring one of his new throwing knives.

"You know, one might as well think you're married to those knives of yours." Billy jokes.

"Ayo, shut your bloody mouth." He fired back. I laugh at the bickering.

The sound of the intercom system came on making everyone shut up.

"Everyone, please head to Master Lins classroom he has an important announcement to make." It says before you hear turned off.

"Well, I guess we better get going." I say getting up with them following behind me out of the cafeteria.

Scene skip.

Master Lin called every student to his classroom for an announcement. His classroom usually filled with desks and seats was left almost bare except for Master Lin's teacher's desk and some benches on the opposite wall I was on.

The students lined up against the walls in two rows

"Welcome students as you know several students have been found dead and the people who are responsible for their deaths are from another world. They are called Deatheaters. They come from a world that is not normal for us. A world of witchcraft and wizardry."

Most of the students laughed.
Lex leans in and whispers. "I think he's on something."

"Laugh if you want but don't be surprised by what you see." He says sitting on his desk.

The sound of a knock on the door filled the room. "Will one of you get that?" Billy opens the door to find a cat that runs past his feet up to the desk. "Welcome back, McGonagall." Lin greets the cat.
