"I won't lie, the thought of coming with you to America for the 4th sounded kind of scary. Now that we got to see the fireworks it's not even scary,just amazing,thank you for bringing me y/n." "It's nothing Osorō, besides,who else would I bring with me,plus you got to meet my parents. I'm happy to have shared this holiday with you."
A smile came across Osorō's face as she rubbed your hair and pulled you closer to her, the soft sheet and warm golden glow of the rising sun turned her into an angel. The scars didn't matter,it was almost as if they were invisible.
The best part was that you woke up with Osorō as your girlfriend instead of your friend,after all the kiss at midnight had sealed everything.
*Last night 10 minutes before the fireworks show*
"So how do these fireworks actually work,do they hurt?"
"Oso we won't light them, but we'll see them, plus any firework can hurt if used incorrectly. Now let's stop jabbering and grab a good spot." The two of you find a nice spot and set out your blanket along with your food, what Oso didn't know was that you packed a big surprise for her. All you had to do was wait, and hope nothing would go sour.

"Y/n, what do people usually bring to these kind of things?" "What do you think? Alcohol of course but we're not doin that, we're watching, now sit down, the show is about to start."  Just down the hill, a woman  with a microphone appears. "Hello everyone, thankyou all for attending the fireworks show of 2022, I hope you enjoy the show, and drive safely on your way home, thank you." 

With that, the first firework of the night flew into the sky, and blew into a flurry of colors. Osorō's eyes lit up as more fireworks flew up into the sky. In the 20 minutes of the show, the smile never left Osorō's face. The woman returned from the tent she had retreated too, standing in her original place at the start of the night. "Hello again everyone, I'm glad you're enjoying the show, so I'll let you know right now, this is the last 20 minutes of the show.  This is a 10 minute interval, before the last fireworks, the tickets you bought to view this show are also raffle tickets, the 2 lucky people will light the biggest, brightest, and last fireworks of the night. We will start the raffle after the 10 minute interval."

"Oso, you still have the tickets right?"  "Yep, our numbers are 001, and 456." 

*10 minutes end* 

"Alright everyone, time for the raffle, the first number is..... number 456!" "You did it Oso, nice job!" "Next number is... number 001!" Claps and whistles came from everywhere as you both stood up to hand the lady your tickets. She turns off her mic and tells you 2 to wait where you are, and that they'll light up the last fireworks in front of everyone, you go back to your blanket, pulling out a large container. "What is that?" "You'll see."

When it came down to you 2, everyone clapped and cheered  for you both, as you made your way down to the last 2 fireworks, both were red, white, and blue colored, you set the container on the table in the middle of both you and  Osorō. 

You go over to the lady with the microphone and ask her quietly. "Would it be possible that I can ask  my friend to be my girlfriend before we light the last fireworks?" "Of course! Here take the mic, the button is right there to turn it on. " You take the microphone and walk over to Osorō, taking the top of of the container, a big red, white and blue cupcake sat in the container. You slide it in front of her, and turn on the microphone.

"Oso, we've been friends since my freshman year, I'm glad to have brought you to the states to celebrate our 4th of July. It's ok for you to say no to this, but I've had feelings for you for about 2 years now, and I don't want to hide it any longer. Osorō, would you please read the pin from the cupcake." She reads the pin and her eyes widen. "Would you please be my-" She didn't even give you time to finish, she just cut the mic off and gave you a big kiss. 

Cheers erupted from the crowd at the lovely gesture before Osorō just pulled you in to light the last fireworks of the night, seeing the lighting stem start to sparkle, you both back away as you watch the small light go into the firework, and it fly into the sky, and as it blew into the night sky, in one of the best and brightest array of color everyone had ever seen, another kiss was shared between the two of you.
