Shadowhunter (Jace Wayland X Reader)

After we got the coffe. I tought maybe its perfect time to go home. Just for a little.

''Hey, since we are dating.'' I started and Jace turned his head to me.

''Maybe its good time for you to meet my family?..'' I questioned.

''Are you serious?'' He asked softly

''Yes i am!'' I said jokingly

''I will think about it.'' Jace said proudly

''Alright then. Im going home!'' I said and kissed him on the cheek

''Im home!'' I yelled as i closed the door

''Hey Hun'' My dad greeted like I wasn't missing for week.

I looked at him confused as he walked to living room.

"I covered up for you" I heard Marleen saying from stairs.

"You did? Your usefull for once" I said and smirked

"No problem!" She said and came closer. "But next time you decied to have a week sleepover at some guys house. I wont be covering for you" She whispered and went to kitchen.

I went to my room and jumped on my bed. I hugged all my stuffed toys.

"I missed yall so much" I said addressing to the toys.

Half a hour later i heard dad yelling "Lunch!" I rushed down to the dining table and waited for them to sit.

We started eating lunch peacefully. When doorbell randomly ringed.

"I wonder who could that be" I said and stood up

I went to open the door and saw Jace standing there.

"Mind joining me for a walk?" He asked

I invited him in and introduced him to Marleen and dad.

"Its pleasure to meet you sir" Jace said with respect

They exchanged everything about themselfes and we were ready to go.

"Do you have bycicle?" Jace asked. I nodded.

"Want to go for a ride?" He asked.

"Sure!" I jumped a little. I opend my garage and took the bike out.

We started bycicle. He lead me out of the city. We went to Los Angeles. It was beautiful.

After some time we stopped at the beach. We dismounted the bikes and sat down.

"This is beautiful" I stated looking at the sunset.

"Very beautiful" He agreed. I laid down and rested my head in his lap.

Jace looked down at me. "Did anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?" He asked.

I blused and smiled. He smiled back.

"I've got us something." He said. I sat up and looked at him.

He stood up and went to his bike. When he came back, he was holding a bag.

"Open it" He said. I opend the bag.

"You got us sweets?!" I happily yelled and hugged him.

"All of your favourites" He said and smiled.

"Im cold" I said (Its late autumn)

"You are?" Jace asked and gave me his hoodie.

"Arent you now gonna be cold?" I asked

"Its nothing i cant handle" He said and cuddled me tight.

We stayed together till late night cuddling on the beach.

"Do you think its time to go home?"

"I dont want this to end" I said burying my face into his chest.

"Dont worry it wont." Jace said. "But you dont want your father to be mad, and not let us see eachother anymore. Do you?" He sweetly teased.

"No" I said with my face still in his chest

"Here you go" Jace said while returning my bike in garage.

"Thank you" I said and hugged him. My dads now standing at the door.

"Here you go sir! Shes here safe and sound" Jace said jokingly.

We hugged and said our goodbyes.

"OH! And about your hoodie" I turned to Jace. Him looking with adoration. "Your not getting it back" I said and went inside.

"Thank you!" "For everything" Dad said

"No problem sir. For her anything allways" Jace said.

"This past year was really hard for her. I mean since her mother passed" Dad said

"Im sorry for your loss" Jace said.

"Your a good kid" Dad said and went inside. And Jace went back to institute.
