___________(Y/n's POV)
Picking my bag up off the ground and slinging it over my shoulder, I looked over my old room with a sigh. It's been two years since the infamous battle between the Autobots and Decepticons and losing the Cube. I got a new job with NEST, a secret military alliance with the Autobots to take down any lost Decepticons who have arrived on Earth since Optimus sent out a message to any survivors. I walked down the stairs and left my house, heading over to Sam's. Today, he starts college, which I am proud of him for getting into. He is the first Witwicky to attend college.
A few houses down from mine, Sam's house came into view. I walked up the steps and knocked on the door. Judy opened the door, and she seemed to be crying.
"Oh, hey Y/n."
"Are you alright, Judy?" I asked as she stepped aside, letting me inside. She nodded as she continued to weep. She always loved Sam, and I can understand that she would be emotional to see her son grow up. She pulled me into a tight hug and I sighed.
"It's okay. Sam's gonna be fine." I reassured her. I saw something in her hands. They were small baby shoes. "What are those?" I pointed them out.
"Sam's baby booties... he was so small." she sniffled and wiped away her tears. I heard the familiar footsteps of my childhood friends come into the room from the backyard. Judy and I looked over at him. She sobbed again.
"Look what I found... It's your little baby booties." she pulled Sam into a hug.
"Aw, Ma." Sam grumbled into her shoulder and gave me a small wave."My little baby booty boy, you can't go." Judy sobbed.
"You see this, Dad? This is how you're supposed to react when the fruit of your loins goes out into the cruel world to fend for himself, okay?" Sam muffled into his mother's shoulder.
"Yeah, my heart bleeds for you, pal. College. Bummer." Ron said, waving him off. I chuckled a little. Judy continued to hug Sam and whimper. "You have to come home. Every. Holiday. Not just big ones, you have to come home for Halloween." she wiped away her tears.
"I can't come home for Halloween, Mom."
"Well, then we'll come to you." they continued to talk over each other as Ron swung his golf clubs over his shoulder.
"Would you let the kid breathe, for crying out loud?" Ron said, "Come on, go pack. There's no way you're packed for a month-long trip. Come on!", he clapped his hands twice, "chop, chop! Let's go. March, young lady." he spanked Judy's butt as she went up the stairs. Sam and I cringed.
"Ugh.. oh, Dad." Sam squinted his eyes shut, I scrunched up my nose.
"I did NOT need to see that." I said."I love it when you call me young lady, you dirty old man." Judy flirted.
"Eh, you ain't seen nothing yet."
Sam did not like that at all. "Dad, Dad, Dad, woah!"
"What?""I'm watching what you're doing, Dad. It's not a rap video." Sam exaggerated.
"Yeah, that was kinda dirty, too. Ugh.." I shook the goosebumps away. "It's like a coach thing." Ron replied
"That was just a creepy move just now, Dad."The dogs hopped up on the couch. "Look. You, you, your, ah... your mother and me are really, really proud of you. I mean, you're the first Witwicky ever to go to college." Ron said. I smiled at the relationship they had. Sure they argue here and there, but I know that his dad is proud of him.
