The Unknown / Ben Hargreeves X Oc

It was the next morning.

Lilith stretched out her arms and yawned, as she woke up from her deep sleep, still having her eyes closed.

As she opened them, she's welcomed by 5 pairs of eyes... and a cube, staring at her. She jumped back as she looked back at them, confused.

"What did you do to Marcus?" Ben asked furiously.

"What did I do to him?" She asked back.

"We're not joking around, Lilith. Where is he?" Sloane, spoke softly but in a worried tone.

"I'm also not joking around... Is he missing or something? Because I certainly am not hiding him.. that big and strong of a man against me? There's no way."

"Then it's obviously the umbrellas. That little one was with him last night.."

"I don't think they'll do something like that--" she says as Ben cut her off.

"Let's go. I have a plan, and you?" Ben says and pointed at Lilith.

"Don't go anywhere."

They all left as she just stared at them.

"This will end up badly.." she thought to herself.

She didn't exactly know where they're heading but definitely had an idea where to. She didn't really have a way to stop them anyways, as she's also trying to gain their trust.

She just went and have breakfast. As she's enjoying all by herself, suddenly she heard them came back.

"Where did you guys go-- oh my God, you took Luther??" Lilith exclaimed.

"They took our one, so obviously we took him as well." Ben stated.

"I told you already, it's not like them to just kidnap someone like you guys just did to me.. and now Luther too." She informed.

"You keep on defending them, but did they come and get you? No!" Ben snarkily replied as she furrowed her eyebrows at him and paused for a second.

"Like I said, they didn't know me and probably didn't trust me of course they won't save me. They're not assholes like you, they're just using their brains." She ranted as Ben scoffed in response.

Lilith suddenly regretted her choice of words and suddenly felt awkward. She knew what she said was true, but too much, so she quietly took her plate and walked off as the Sparrow's eyes followed her tracks.

"That was brave of her." Fei says as she looked at Ben.

Ben just scoffed and shook his head.

On her way to sit by the paintings, Lilith sighed. "That was so dumb... I shouldn't have said that." She muttered to herself as she bite on her bread.

"But I have to go back there... they might hurt Luther.." she says worryingly.

She just stayed there, still nervous because of her previous actions. Overthinking. "God, the'll probably kill me or something.. I mean, I can defend myself.. but I don't wanna hurt them.."

"Why are you always talking to yourself?" That familiar annoying voice asked as she jump back. Too much caffeine intake really took a toll on her, she thought to herself.

"Stop quietly spawning out of corners.. it's creepy." Lilith says as she continued fidgeting out of nervousness and Ben just stood there staring at her.

She felt his gaze as if he's trying to pierce a hole on the back of her head so she looked back and glared at him.

Just an awkward silence was shared between them, when she hurriedly stood up to take away the dishes she just used when she's stopped by a hand grabbing her left arm that held the plate. The action startled her and made her face heat up.

"You really still have the nerve to stay around after everything you said? Aren't you scared?" He softly, yet threateningly told her, keeping her close to him.

She was scared, of course. But also distracted by how close he was. Ben just then took a noticed of her now too obviously reddened face, as he looked at her, head tilting, confused by the sight before him.

He was about to say something, scared of what he's about to say, without a thought, she did the most idiotic thing she could do in a situation like this.

Pulling the same arm that Ben held, Lilith purposely pulled him with it, in a swift motion, she reached out her right hand to softly grab the back of his neck and put her lips on his.

The kiss was very innocent and gentle. She felt like she's a teen again, having to finally kiss her childhood crush, but just like that, reality hit her.

"Shit, this is wrong. This isn't Ben Hargreeves.." she thought to herself.

"This isn't my Ben Hargreeves.."
