"Ouch, ouch, ohhh. Mark, stop killing me," Jungkook grumbled, his words muffled by the pillow he's currently biting while laying on his bed face first.
Jackson snickered and rolled his eyes, "You should have known better before challenging the Prince. You are lucky. Every year there is a funeral just after the fight. He took things way to easy on you."
"Stop being such kiss ass." Mark slapped one of his wound on his back, making the bigger man shout in pain.
"You think you know every thing, huh. We fought alongside him for a long time. I was there with him the last time those Zentopians invaded our planet. He was fighting one on one with the King, and boy was it fierce. The King himself is an amazing fighter. But at a point the Prince just snapped, he went rampage, killing half the Zentopian army who were in the battlefield. The other half was saved thanks to their King."
"Whatever, I still don't like him."
Jungkook put on some light clothing and went to find Jimin to learn more about the future plans. He didn't show up in the battle, and it was confusing as the man was the general slash prince, he ought to be there, right? Just as Jungkook was turning a corner on the third floor, he found the one he was looking for. But he chose not to approach him at the moment.
Ask why?
Because the small man was heavily making out with a tall guy with broad shoulders, buff body and handsome side profile. He was clinging onto the taller like a koala and kept moaning shamelessly loud. Jungkook felt disheartened like a small boy whose balloon flew away. The Earther really had a small crush on the silver haired man, and it stung to see him with someone else, but he decided to shrug it away. Shaking his head to remove the unholy scene from his mind, Jungkook headed downstairs to find Jimin's assistant and his boyfriend, the Spacecraft Technician, who was now assuming the role of the captain in the army.
But it seemed like Mark and Jackson were also busy in their room. And he just chatted with the new five: Yeonjun, Soobin, Taeyang, Beomgyu and Kai, so he probably couldn't go back to them. The only other people he knew were the Prince and Hoseok, he did not intend to face any of them. But he had to see Hoseok on his way to the garden to spend some time alone, who just snickered at his awkwardness and waved playfully. Jungkook didn't give a damn about the burst of friendliness and resumed his walk.
The garden looked very pretty from the balcony of his room and it was prettier when seen upfront. There was a big fountain in the middle with the trees arranged around it like a open lotus, leaving space between the petals for walking. Flowers various colours bloomed on the bushes, the abundance of purple was noticeable still.
Jungkook walked under the crystal clear, violet sky with pinkish cloud moving around, making weird shapes on it's way, until he stopped to hear a faint sound of piano.
The melody was enchanting and it felt like Jungkook just couldn't get enough of it. He followed it until he was faced dead end. Maybe the tune was played by someone outside the castle. He tried to walk away, but couldn't, with curiosity getting the best of him.
He climbed up the tree near the wall and peaked to the other side of the obstruction. He couldn't see anything because of the thick layer of leaves, but the sound was surely heard louder- he was positive someone was playing piano on the other side.
"Ok, Jungkook. Flexibility check," Jungkook whispered to himself as he put one foot on the edge of the wall. Placing it securely, he leaped and got his other foot on the wall. A little hand push, now he was on the wall balancing himself. Good that it was thick. He grabbed onto a twig on the tree of other side, as his foot tried to find a strong branch to climb on as silently as possible. He hopped down the tree, smiling at himself proudly. As he looked back at the source of the music still playing, he was struck by the scenery.
