Your POV:

Chapa was acting weird. Not like how she did before, aka when she had that huge crush on some dude named Creston.

She was being rude, even if she always seems to be mean to people, this time, it was constant.

Like before, she did have a soft spot for some people. She wouldn't be mean to them often. But this time, it seemed like she didn't care about anyone.

She also seemed mad. I know she always seems mad, but like again, it was constant.

She would zap people with no context too.

"Mika that shirt is ugly." Chapa said calmly as a happy Mika walked into the room.

I watched as Mikas smile faded from her face.

"I like this shirt." She said quietly.

I turned to look at Chapa.

"Chapa, why do you keep doing this?" I asked her.

"Doing what?" She looked up from her phone.

"Being mean to everyone. Are you okay?"

She hesitated and sighed.

"I'm alright."

I slowly moved back, nodded and mouthed "okay."

I watched as panic slowly came above her face.

"I-i'm sorry i gotta go." She said, putting her phone in her pocket and running out the door.

Everyone was silent after she ran out.

I whispered to Mika.

"Should I follow her?"

She nodded back as I got up.

"Sorry I gotta go too!" I said, pretty much copying what Chapa did.

I ran down the street, to see her at the end of it.

I chose not to look shady, I knew her address so I just waited in front of the man's nest.

Once it had been long enough for her to probably be at home, I left for her house.

Once I made it there, I struggled to climb up the trees that were beside Chapas bedroom window.

Once I gotten close enough to the window I noticed her window was slightly open, also with a small crack in the curtains/drapes.

Perfect for me to see and hear what was going on.

I quietly put my ear up to the opened window, i could faint yelling and sobbing.

I peeked through the curtains, Chapa was sitting on her bed, covering her ears and rocking back and forth, sobbing.

She also had her wardrobe in front of her door.

It took me a little bit to realize what was going on.

I quickly pulled out my phone.

"I found her. I know why she's been acting strange." I sent to Mika.

I started banging on her window shouting her name.

She slowly stopped rocking back and forth and looked over to the window.

There was a look of relief on her face as she ran over and opened her window entirely.

"Your here." She whispered as I climbed in a hugged her.

She immediately started sobbing into my shoulder and gripped onto me.

Time Skip bc i'm lazy

Your POV:

I had brought Chapa over to my house, away from her horrible parents.

After 1 more hour of crying and ranting, we both fell asleep in my bed.

I woke up to her shaking me.

"Yes?" I asked, tiredly.

"I want to tell you something." She sat up. I sat up with her.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"I'm scared to say this.." she whispered as she buried her head into her knees.

"It's okay, take your time." I whispered back to her.

Eventually she built up the courage to say it.

"i like you," she whispered just loud enough for me to hear.

"i have for like three months now."

She looked up as I pulled her in for a kiss.

She seemed shocked as first, then clearly started enjoying it.

We kissed for about fifteen minutes until we both ran out of air.

When we pulled apart she immediately started to giggle.

"Whats so funny?" I asked, starting to giggle myself.

"I just never thought i'd end up with my best friend."

We both lied down.

She hesitated, clearly thinking about something, before she cuddled into me.

I blushed but still wrapped my arms around her.

"So are we like, a thing now?" I asked her.

"I want to be so we are." She answered, moving even closer if that was even possible.

"Okay then," I started.

"Goodnight babe." I said and kissed her head.

"Goodnight baby." She replied quietly.
