Juliette almost never gets jealous, relationship wise, but today she was just in a bitchy mood, she didn't get enough sleep, Ben got mad at her for making them late, she stubbed her toe and she just felt really.... Eeuueughh. It didn't help that someone was getting a wee bit too close to Cal, Ben noticed how she was looking at this random girl.
"Letty, hey, are you alright? You seem a little mad"
Ben pointed out, Juliette just gave Ben a quick glare and a roll of the eyes
"I'm not a a jealous person but..."
"But with Cal it's different?"
"... I guess? Just- who is she and why is she so close to her?"
They look back at the girl being close to Cal, her name is Emily (I'm kinda picking on the Emily's aren't I?) And she's been at school for a while, ever since Cal showed up she's been popping up randomly, not talking to her just sort of appearing near her. I guess she finally got the guts to talk to her, Juliette was fine but today she just felt awful, Juliette was jealous
"I'm gonna say something-"
Ben pulls her back
"Nonono... Talk to her after"
"Why?"
"Just do it! I'll distanct you until she leaves, I don't want you to embarrass yourself, I'm doing you a favour"
Ben says, he goes on to talk about random stuff, trying to take Juliette's mind of Emily and Cal. It works for a moment or two, then Emily leaves.
"Dang that girl is happy"
Cal says turning around to Ben and Jules, Ben bumps his hip against Juliette as a way of saying 'okay I'm gonna bounce but you two can talk about whatever happened there and maybe make out a bit bye' despite Juliette's desperate facial expressions Ben leaves
"Okay... What was that?"
Cal asks and Juliette sighs
"Who was that girl?"
She asks quietly
"I think her name is Emily? She's a lot"
"Do you like her?"
Cal paused to process what Juliette just said
"What? No! Nonono! She's... Dumb... I don't like her, not like that"
Cal states (if your name is Emily I'm not calling you dumb I'm sorry here have a present 🎁) Juliette looks down
"Where you jealous?"
Juliette doesn't say anything and Cal steps forward
"Jules."
"Maybe a little... I'm not a jealous person! I don't know why I got so angry"
Cal smiles lovingly
"It's fine, I'm sorry I made you feel that way"
"It wasn't you it was Emily"
They chuckle, Cal takes Juliette's hands
"Yeah... Now, where'd Ben go?"
"Hm, I don't know... Probably kissing with Noah"
Cal snorts and starts walking with Jules
"You're cute when you're jealous"
"Stop! I'll bite you"
