Dawn West-Allen: Part Two

Everyone's attention was on us, I glanced at Nora not knowing where we should start.

"Should we start at the beginning?" I asked.

"What happened after Lia?" Caitlyn replied.

I was confused at how they knew about Lia but the open journal on the monitors explained it all. Nora and I glanced at her and I nodded telling her I would go first.

"I wasn't with Nora when... When it happened, I was at home." I began." She came over after and Mom came home later that night from Coast City and-"

"And we got into another fight, over my powers." Nora took over." I just wanted answers but mom, future mom wouldn't give me any." Nora said looking at mom.

"So you went to Thawne." Dad said angrily as Nora nodded.

"He helped me figure out how to catch Godspeed and gave me the answers I wanted like where my power came from and... And about you." Nora said."I just wanted to see you Dad!" Nora paused as tears welt in her eyes." and Thawne showed me how."

"And Cicada?" Mom said.

"The one case we both couldn't solve." Nora said to mom.

"It was my idea to come here and make it right, Dawn came-"

"To make sure she was alright." I added.

"Okay." mom spoke.

"Can I have a minute with Dawn and Nora?" Dad asked.

Everyone cleared out of the room and disappeared into the hallway leaving just the three of us. Dad sat on the monitors in front of us and took a deep breath.

"How many times did you guys go back to Thawne?" Dad asked.

"How many times?" Nora repeated.

"After the night of the enlightenment." He clarified.

Nora looked at me before looking back at dad.

"5, uh, maybe 6 times," Nora stuttered.

"That's not right-" I mumbled.

We had only seen Thawne three times; the rest were just messages through Gideon.

"Even Knowing he killed my mother."

"No, we didn't see him anymore-" I said before turning to Nora." Tell him Nora, we stopped, right?"

Nora stayed quiet barely making eye contact. Tears began falling down my cheek, yet I still didn't want to believe it.

"But we..." My voice trailed off As I made eye contact with dad.

"You didn't stop." Dad said to Nora who slowly nodded her head no." I understand coming back to meet me... And the team. I do! I even understand going to Thawne-" Dad said wiping his eyes."-to learn how to do it but you kept going back, even after you knew what he did, even after he wasn't the only option anymore." Dad paused." And the worst part is that you lied to us, all of us."

"Dad I-" Nora stuttered.

"I don't trust you, Nora, and I can't have anybody here with us, that I don't trust." Dad said.

"What are you saying?" Nora said as a steady stream of tears fell down my face.

"It's time for you guys to go home."

Dad released our arms and the blue portal closed behind us. One look at the holographic signs and hoover taxi and I knew we were back in the future.

"Dad please don't do this!" Nora said drawing my attention to her. "I promise I'll never see Thawne again!" Nora said as Dad stared at her.
