Chapter 4

I sighed it was probably my imagination "what did you see?" He asked "I thought I saw someone from school who's been giving me a hard time" I lied "but I think it was just my imagination playing tricks on me" I added "okay well if you still want to go we can" he told me I nodded and I ran away from him hoping he'd chase me so we could get out of there, we arrived back at his house I was still scared so I called Bella telling her what happened and to be on the lookout. That night we just watched a bunch of movies till I started to get tired which wasn't long I yawned "do you want me to turn it off?" Seth asked "no keep it on I'll probably fall asleep listening to it anyway" I answered and that's exactly what I did, but I didn't have good dreams that night.

I was walking though the woods when I saw him but that can't be he's dead "stay away from me!" I yelled "oh Crystal I think you're name was, your blood is just mouthwatering to stay away from" James responded "no please don't" I begged "James don't play with out food" Victoria said appearing in a tree "what do you want from me?" I asked scared for my life "I want Edward to suffer loosing a mate but the only way to break her is to go after the one she's loves which is you" Victoria confessed jumping down to the ground, they both walk toward me "no please don't I'll do anything" I begged tears falling from my eyes I didn't want to die or become a vampire I wanted to stay human, they grabbed my arms and bit them I scream so loud and the pain was unbearable it was like fire coursing through my veins that was the venom I felt my body go limp from the blood loss but they stopped and dropped me to the ground just before they could kill me "sweet dreams" Victoria said before her show came in contact with my face

I wake up screaming "hey it's okay" Seth said "it was just a bad dream" he added I start to cry and he hugged me "is everything okay? I heard screaming" Sue asked concerned "she had a bad dream mom it's okay I've got it" Seth replied taking my shaky hands in his "okay let me know if she needs anything" she told him he nodded "sorry I didnt mean to wake everyone up" I said "don't be silly it's okay" he replied "it's not, it felt so real....like I was actually dead" I said starting to cry again "shhhh it's okay, you're safe nothings going to happen to you" he whispered "go back to sleep" he said "I can't" I replied "you can I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere" he told me I nodded and closed my eyes clinging to Seth scared that my nightmare would return.

When I woke up Seth wasn't next to me I sat up looking around gathering my thoughts he door opened and Seth just had a towel round him "Seth! OMG!" I said throwing the covers over my face to I wouldn't see not that he cared anyways "sorry" he replied "I'm sorry for last night" I said again "it's fine" he said pulling the covers off me now that he was partly dressed I blushed slightly, I just looked at him "you have little golden flecks in your eyes I haven't noticed before" I told him "I'm so sorry I shouldn't of said that" I said moving away from him "it's okay" he replied I got up grabbed some clothes and going to the bathroom I sighed knowing I shouldn't of said that and I went for a shower.

I got dressed () and tied up my hair, I went back to Seth's room and see him sitting on his bed in his phone now fully clothed, I looked at him from the door way he hadn't noticed me yet could I like Seth Clearwater? No that's impossible he's my best friend I can't like my best friend it's just too weird, he looked up "you okay?" He asked "yeah I'm fine" I replied he smiled and I smiled too "come on let's go for a walk" I said he nodded and put his shoes on.

We were half way through our walk through the woods I know stupid but it's daytime when it began to rain a little bit it was still sunny so I knew vampires wouldn't come out in this, but I was still enjoying it when I got a text from Katie but it was her mom she told me Katie was in hospital "I have to go" I told Seth "why?" He asked "my friend from school just went into hospital" I told him "go and be safe" he replied I smiled and gave him a hug and ran to Forks and to the hospital.

By the time I got there I was blue in the face Carlise found me "Crystal what are you doing here? Take a seat you look like you're going to pass out" he told me making me sit down and catch my breath "Katie Foster what room is she in?" I asked "Crystal I don't think it's a good idea" he told me "why what happened?" I asked "she was hit by a car this morning" he told me I couldn't believe it "I need to see her, her mom texted me" I said standing up but almost fell over from all the running my legs turned to jelly "maybe I should take care of your first" he said "I'm fine I just a really far distance" I replied "from where?" He asked "La Push" I told him "Crystal that's an hours walk from here" he told me "yeah I know" I replied "you can see Katie tomorrow I promise but I'm going to call Bella and have her take you home you need rest and lots of it and you'll be sore the next few days" he told me sitting me in the waiting room close to the door and he went to all my sister.

I must of waiting about 25 minutes before Bella showed up "what we're you thinking?" She asked "why does everyone have a problem with me running here?" I asked "Victoria is still in the loose and she could of gotten to you" Bella whispered "yeah well she didn't I'm still here" I whispered back "let's just get you home" Bella said helping me. When I got home I just went straight to my room to sleep but somehow even in the day my nightmares can't stay away.

I was walking along the beach alone I don't why, I saw someone standing not far away from me it was Victoria so I turned round and began to walk away but there was someone behind me a person I knew all to well Seth was there but he seemed different his eyes were a different colour they weren't the deep brown I loved they were a blood red and it was really scary "Seth?" I asked he just looked at he and tilted his head to the side "Seth please don't" I said walking backwards but Victoria grabbed my arms holding me in place "kill her you know you want to" Victoria whispered to him "no please don't" I begged Seth took a step forward he fangs showing "Seth stop!" I yelled trying to get out of Victoria's grip but it was no use he bit me and it was painful the venom coursing through my veins for the second time Seth just dropped me to the ground not caring anymore and then I saw something horrific Victoria killed Seth right in the front of me and I could save him.

I woke up screaming and sweat dripping down my forehead "you okay?" Edward asked "Jesus Christ" I said putting my hand over my heart "I saw your nightmare and I won't let that happen, my family won't let that happen, she's not going to get to any of you" he reassured me "thank you" I told him "I know you like him so just tell him he likes you too" he said to me I smiled "I guess being able to read minds has it's perks" I said he smiled a little "I guess it does" he replied "I know you're really hear to see Bella I'll be okay I promise" I told him and he was gone.
