Through the glass door I could see Jeven cleaning a table.

"Two Tornado Cocos coming right up!" Jeven said as soon as he saw me.

"No thank you!" I said stopping him.

"Everything okay?" He asked concerned.

"I'm fine." I replied as he nodded.

"Anyway, I'm glad your here." Jeven began." So, I can thank you in person. Because of you, I aced my calculus exam. I scored so high that my grandma thought I cheated." He chuckled." I literally spent two hours trying to convince her that you helped me and that you're a real person. Now she wants to meet you. If that's cool with you."

"Yeah, about that, I'm... leaving soon and I wanted to say-" I began as his smile faded."-Back home I didn't have a lot of friends and everyone knew me as the weird lonely girl but you were able to see past that... and I want to say thanks for being my friend."

"That sounds more like a goodbye forever." He began." You still have my number, feel free to text me whenever." He said as I smiled through the pain.

An emergency alarm began blaring from my phone cutting our moment short.

"That's my family calling, I have to go." I said turning the alarm off.

"Right." he said with a smile. "See you later Dawn." He said as I attempted to leave. "Dawn wait!" He said.

Before I could react Jevens lips were planted on mine closing the gap between us. I didn't know what I was doing but everything seemed to fall into place. My arms instinctively wrapped around his waist and I somehow knew how to tilt my head.

It wasn't like what Ralph described in his book; it was more than I could have hoped for.

The kiss lasted no more than 1 minute before it fell into an intimate hug.

"Promise me you will text or call." He said finally letting go.

I couldn't make that promise but I also didn't want to ruin this moment for either of us. I settled with a cheeky smile and a nod before I was forced to say goodbye, possibly forever.

While I was gone, team flash was able to pinpoint Cicada's location and Nora was able to come up with a plan. I was glad this plan included Mama Cecile and Papa joe, I got to talk to them both before they left. They were the last ones, I wanted to spend time with.

I was in the speed lab putting on my suit. I was down to the last part when Nora walked in dressed in her suit.

"dad said we should be ready to go soon." Nora began.

"Okay." I replied adjusting my boot.

Nora sat next to me.

"Ya know, I think giving Grace the cure will work. we won't be eased from the timeline. " she said staring into space.

"Whatever happens...I'm okay." I reminded her. "I'm okay with everything we've done and I don't regret anything." I said tearing up. "Thanks for dragging me to the past."

"You're making it sound like I forced you to come." Nora choked out in between her sobs, causing us both to laugh.

"If you hadn't shown me that video, I would have never met Dad and team flash or had my first kiss..." I chuckled.

"You what?" Nora said wiping the tears from her eyes. "With Jeven?"

"Yes." I chuckled. "Please don't be weird."
