"Alright, does everyone copy?" Webs said through the ear piece she each gave us. We all copied and gave signal to hearing each other. Snake and I looked around for a vent. Snake found ONE, but it would be noticeable if I tagged along. He groaned in annoyance. "Why did Wolf had to sign me up with you? You're the one making this harder." He pointed. I rolled my eyes. "It's not like I asked to be partners with you. Yell at Wolf not me." I said in annoyance. From the corner of my eyes, I saw a vent in an almost empty hallway. "Hey! Found one." I whispered yelled. "Where?!" He asked following me. It was on the ground and not really anyone was noticing except for the security camera which was currently being watched by Webs. I opened the vent and pointed my hand, motioning him to go first. "Gentleman first." I smiled. He rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah whatever." He said slithering in. "Geez, you're welcome." I commented going into the vent.
This stupid dress was giving me much of a harder time crawling. I unzipped the dress, taking it off to reveal my underclothes. Much better. Snake also got out of his disguise by...molting..his skin. I looked at the dead skin, weirded out. "Dude. That's just freaky." I said from behind him. "What? It's faster and sanitary." "Okay then." We got a message that Wolf was in position, meaning he got the card. Webs then transferred to Piranha who was almost in position. "CC, Snake, are you both in position?" "Affirmative. We are making are way to the entry vault." I said through the ear piece.
Snake kept rushing me cause he was saying I was "slow". "It's not like I can slither like you, you know." "Excuses." He then stopped abruptly which made me almost bump into him. "Why'd you stop?" I then saw what he was seeing. The vent under us showed us the entry to the golden doplin's placement, with two security guards at the entry. "Jackpot." Snake smirked which I smirked back at him. He then slowly opened the vent while I replaced my earpiece with ear buds. Snake then used his teeth to hold on to the ledge as I used him as a rope to get down. "Hey boys." I said getting their attention. "Wanna dance?" I asked and put on the music while using the flow of it to feel the music while fighting.
After the combat, I climbed up Snake back into the vent. "Show off." He commented under his breath." "It can be useful." I commented back as I pulled him up. I then grabbed my earpiece to speak to Webs. "We got rid of the guards." I said through it. "Copy that. Now to get rid of the outside guards." She said motioning to Shark. "Do I get to improve??" Shark asked excitedly. "Yes fine improvise, please be subtle." Said Wolf through the earpiece. Wonder how that will go.
Wolf and Piranha were now on their way to the entry vault. Snake and I were making our way to the vent that leads to it. This was surprisingly going decent. Guess it has to do with not speaking much. Snake then stopped again as he peeked through the vent below us. "Too easy." He smirked. I also peeked under, but, something didn't feel right. It was extremely dark to the point where you couldn't see anything. "Are you sure? It's too dark to see anything. What if it's not the right one?" I asked. He gave me an annoyed look. "You think I would be wrong on something as simple as going in vents? I've done this for centuries and know what I'm doing. Not like your small la la land brain could comprehend that much." He chuckled. I frowned. "Dude. Let's just check on the other ones, to be sure." I said annoyed. "I know what I'm doing! YOU are just being a distraction. With me!" I pinched the bridge of my nose. This guy is as stubborn as a mule. "Oh my gosh you're so stuck up..Fine. Go ahead." I said.
He then opened the vent to reveal...a dark room, like I said. Don't know why I'm making this dramatic. I looked down and used my phone as a flashlight. I saw a light switch close by. Wait a minute. A light switch on a stage? "Lend me down." I said. "Why." "Just do it." He obliged and I used him as a rope again. I slid down to feel that the floor wasn't far at all. It was a tight fit and I realized I felt a door handle close to me. I turned on the switch which revealed..a broom closet. "It's a broom closet Mr. doing this for centuries." "Wha-" He opened his mouth a bit too much which made him fall next to me. It was now a tighter fit than it already was. Our bodies were now close and touching, which made my face burn out of embarrassment. The snake was too stunned to speak as he was also embarrassed of what was happening. "Sorry." He grunted and slithered up the broomsticks to jump in the vent. I was still flustered of what just happened. "Just forget that happened! Let's get out of here." He said placing his tail down, sounding still embarrassed about the situation. I snapped out of it and grabbed on climbing up while helping him up.
