(Skye's Pov)

As Teddy and Cedar tackle me into a hug I squirm a little laughing. "I'm fine guys you can let go now." They reluctantly pull away frowning. "We were so worried and scared." Cedar gives me a sad look and Teddy looks me over frowning. "Yeah and Jake wouldn't let us stay he was way overprotective." I blush a little at that then look up when I hear the door open and smile when I see my father. "Hi papa." He immediately looks at me in relief and rushes over hugging me I hugging him back tightly. He slowly lets go frowning. "Don't ever scare me like that again." I frown and immediately nod. "I'll be more careful next time I receive a random gift." He nods then pulls away I immediately looking towards the door. "Jake went home for a little bit so you can hang out with Teddy and Cedar for a minute." I nod looking a little disappointed but talk with Teddy and Cedar about what went on when I was sick I learning that apparently the school is going to be hosting a figure skating competition and that two other schools are going to be joining ours to see who's school is the best. And apparently Sunghoon is going to be one of the guys representing our school. "That's kinda cool. Maybe we'll make another friend." They look at each other smiling before looking at me saying in unison. "Maybe." I look at them with a raised eyebrow but they quickly excuse themselves saying they have to head home. I wish them goodbye and just as they leave the doctor comes in looking me over and announces that I'm free to go home but if I start feeling sick again to come straight back. I nod in agreement getting out of bed and go change into some clothes before texting Jake that I'll be at home then leave the hospital with my papa immediately heading home and we sit around watching movies while eating snacks until it's late I seeing Jake texted me that he's picking me up tomorrow so I excuse myself and head to bed to rest wondering what exactly is going to happen.

(The next morning)

I wake up a little later than usual and quickly get up pulling on some jeans and a shirt with black sneakers then run a brush through my hair while also brushing my teeth. Once I'm done I check my phone seeing a message that Jake's waiting outside. I quickly rush downstairs letting my papa know where I'm going giving him a hug then rush outside a little breathless. "Sorry I slept late." He looks me over in concern. "That's okay. And don't overdo yourself please." I wave him off then look curious. "What are we doing today?" He smiles and holds out his arm. "Hang on and you'll see." I smile and grab onto his arm holding it then close my eyes as we teleport. Once the dizziness and vertigo passes I hear whispers and movement frowning slightly then Jake suddenly whispers in my ear. "Open your eyes." I slowly open my eyes cautiously and everyone suddenly yells out cheering "glad your okay!" I smile looking around seeing the whole house decorated with steamers and a banner that says glad you're better. I also see a cake and smile when Ni-ki runs over giving me a hug. "I'm glad your okay hyung." I hug him back then slowly let go when Jake suddenly clears his throat  I giving him a confused look but Ni-ki just smiles and runs off. I shake my head then walk over to the others. Heeseung looks at me and clears his throat before giving me a bow. "I'm sorry for judging you and treating you the way I did." My eyes widen in surprise and I give a small smile. "It's okay I forgive you." Jay then hands me over a chocolate cupcake I smiling when he also apologizes. I eat the cupcake happily then chat with Sunghoon for a second until Jake pops up and grabs my arm. "I'm gonna steal him right quick." I raise my eyebrow at him but let myself be lead up the stairs and to his room. He closes the door then turns to me and gives a small smile. "I also wanna apologize for how I treated you. I was wary because of how I've been treated by sirens before and I judged you for it. I was also scared. Scared because your my mate and I wasn't ready to accept that yet. But I accept it now and I'm ready to tell the whole world that your my mate because I love you. So Park Skye will you be mine?" I stare at him wide eyed for a minute before my expression softens and I step closer to him. "Yes I'll be yours." He grins and pulls me close hugging me I clinging to him tightly and he buries his face in my neck making me smile and giggle. "God you smell so much better. Like your regular self." I blush bright red and slowly pull away. "What do I even smell like?" He grins down at me. "You my love smell like cinnamon." I blush even more at the term of endearment and squeak when I'm suddenly picked up and carried over to his bed. "Shouldn't we head back down to the party?" He lays me down on the bed before climbing in beside me and pulls me close cuddling me. "Nope. I want you all to myself right now." I go to protest when suddenly he turns my face towards him and pulls me into a soft kiss. I tense up at first before relaxing and kiss back happily the soft sweet kiss turning heated. He gently moves me onto my back and hovers over me until we pull away to breathe I looking up at him both of us a little dazed. "Well I guess that proves your really my mate." He raises an eyebrow at me questioningly. "Sirens can only kiss their true mates. Anyone else and the person dies." He blinks at me. "That would have been nice to know before." I give him a look. "You didn't exactly give me a chance to say it. You attacked me with a kiss." He chuckles and lays down pulling me into his arms. "I love you." I blush and bury my face into his chest mumbling shyly. "I love you too."
