What if I'm far from home? (Oh brother, I will hear you call)

"Did you know that Buck's been all over the world." Eddie stated to hen when Buck's went into Bobby's office.

"How? He's only what 21-22?" Hen responded.

"Don't know, said he just traveled a lot." Eddie said.

"Let's hope it was for
Good things right." Hen joked.

Eddie and Hen had finished talking and had gotten back to work as Buck walked back down the stairs.

"Hey Buck, what did cap want?" Hen had asked.

"Not much, just some last minute paperwork that needed to be filled out." Buck responded.

*Time skip to later*

The team had just gotten back from a medical call and we're heading up the stairs to go eat. Buck was walking up the stairs when someone had accidentally dropped a plate and it shattered, creating a very loud clatter.

Buck had stopped walking, and was standing there with his hand over his chest.

"Buck?" Hen had called out to him.
"Is he okay?" Chimney asked.
"...shit." Eddie said as he walked over to Buck guiding his over to the bunk room, shutting the door behind them,he guided Buck over to on of the bunks and got him to sit down.

It took a few minutes but Buck finally came too,rubbing a hand over his chest.
"Buck you alright?" Eddie asked.

"Yeah,I'm okay." Buck responded.

"Then what was that,huh? If you were okay you would freeze up at the sound of a plate shattering." Eddie stated.

"Fine you want to know what's wrong, I was a NAVY SEAL had been for a while on my last mission something went horribly wrong and we were ambushed,I lost my team,and almost died myself." Buck stated shuddering, " So no I'm not okay, I watched my literal brother die and the people I could consider family."

"Buck, I'm sorry." Eddie stated moving to sit by buck.

" I got a Purple Heart to add to my collection." Buck said staring at the wall.

They were in there for the rest of the soft just talking,luckily there were not more calls.

At the end of shift Buck went back to his apartment and pulled out a box from the back of his closet, sat down in the floor, and started to look through it.

There was old field uniforms, the uniform with the bullet hole in the chest patch, a box of medals, and many others. He took out the box of medals and skimmed over them. There was a  Afghanistan
Campaign Medal, A navy cross, Medal of Honor, Purple Heart, and his brothers DEA Purple Heart Award, But those are all another story for another time.
